    Advantages Advantages Smell, natural shine

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Doesn't repair hair

Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair Shin Tonic his is a leave-in spray for dry and damaged hair. It comes in a 100ml aerosol can and costs about £1-1.50, but can often be found on offer in Boots. I usually wait until I find it for on offer for £1 pound and only then buy, as I think that standard price makes it slightly poorer value for money (you’ll understand if you read on). This spray is available from most drug stores and supermarkets. Aerosol Can Although the packaging isn’t anything special it is practical. The aerosol can is slightly chunky and fits very well into the palm of my hand. There ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, reasonably priced, adds shine,

Disadvantages Disadvantages Overpowering smell when first applied.

My hair has always lacked shine. Out of everyone in the family, I have always had the worst hair. I have experimented with lots of shampoos and conditioners and products that tell you they will add shine to your hair, so when I came across one I hadn’t used before, I decided to give it ago. Even if I find something I like I cannot resist trying other things as well. This shine repairer product is sold in the shop were I work and that was all the excuse I needed. Advantages Advantages Leaves hair looking shiny and smelling great

Disadvantages Disadvantages None that I have found

I am a real fan of Gliss hair products and regularly use their conditioner and have found it is the best on the market for my hair type. During the winter months I have found that my hair tends to look dull and lifeless and wanted to find a product that would liven it up a bit and add a bit of shine during the forthcoming party season. When scouring the shelves I noticed that you can also buy Gliss Shine Tonic and Shine Sprays, which I had previously not seen before. I opted for the Shine Tonic, purely because it was the cheaper of the two products. I purchased the above product for £1.39 from ... more

Advantages Advantages Be great on really, really dried out almost dead hair

Disadvantages Disadvantages Too many to mention in this little box! lol

I love my hair to appear soft, silky, shiny and glossy. Well who don't eh ladies?! One of the reasons I plonked a black hair dye on my hair one night was for this reason. Black hair dyes seem to infuse shine and patent it better than the majority of hair colours (in my experience). ok some of the reason was cos at the time my hair resembled a badgers bum because I'd messed with it so much (my hair not a badgers bum) and I possessed what could only be described as a multi-coloured barnet so sure a thought was lets even the colour up as well get me some shine! I love my black hair though it ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap - Smells nice

Disadvantages Disadvantages No shine - No repair - No product

The product ~~~~~~~~~~~~ This product is made by the popular hair care brand Schwarzkopf and is basically a product which is applied to a finished style to add shine. It claims to be a leave in product that helps repair hair at the same time of adding brilliant shimmering shine. It comes in a 100ml can, which appears to be a nice size, if you had to take it away with you or pop into your handbag. It is currently prices at £1.49 on AMAZON, however I originally picked mine up from home bargains; I can’t quite remember if I paid this or 99p; either way it was no more than £1.49 in here. Does it ... more

Advantages Advantages Adds shine, no stickiness

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can brush out easily

I work in a warehouse where the environment is often hot, dry and dusty. My poor hair was begining to show signs of dryness and appeared quite pourous, when it used to be shiney. I have short hair so I knew I wouldn't need much of whatever product I could find for dry/damaged hair to add shine. I went to the chemist, desperate to find something to revitalise my hair. I was expecting to come home with some sort of leave in conditioning treatment, but was attracted to this product by its 'instant shine without washing' approach. Just one spary of this leaves hair instantly glossy, so I thought ... more

I have been a Gliss devotee for several years now, having been instructed by my Grandma to "do something about it". It was her that recommended the brand to me. (Good old Granny !!) I bought this product in the local supermarket for 2-3 pounds sterling. It was not a product that lept off the shelf at me but because I liked the Gliss products I have used before I felt confident enough to buy it with out asking around first. This is an aerosol product (not always the easiest way to control the quantity used) which is a bit of a problem travel wise (aerosols & aircrafts, not always the best mix) ... more

Advantages Advantages well priced, use sparingly so lasts long time, smells good, non sticky, very fine sheen, thinner than hairspray, doesn't make your hair greasy, gives a lovely shine, makes your hair look glossy and healthy

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I have used 'Gliss' hair products for years. I use the shampoo, conditioner, shine tonic & reflex shine care. The products do what they say on the Bottle, they smell really good and don't leave build up. My favourite is the 'reflex shine care'. It comes in a pump action bottle, around the same size as the shine tonic spray. It is a glossy cream and I apply a few pumps to freshly towel dried hair and I like to let it dry naturally. It is so soft, silky and shiny. I love Gliss, Ive stuck with it for years as it is one of the only products that works well with my thick, coarse stubborn, curly ... more
