Schwarzkopf Gliss

Naturally I have very dry hair, which leaves it feeling rather like straw sometimes! My hair went through a particularly bad phase so I sought I solution. Unfortunately most 'miracle cures' come at a price, and not being overly rich I couldn't afford any, so Gliss caught my eye. --PACKAGING-- Not alot can be said for the packaging, it's okay I guess but noting special. This mousse is for dry/permed hair etc, and works wonders! I have long curly hair that tends to get dry very easily, and I'm always wary of "miracle cures" that are going to transform my hair, after many products have claimed before. I have used Gliss products before though, and they are generally very good. I do not normally like to use mousses, because they tend to clog hair, but this product is very light and does not build up on hair. I recently bought a Buy One Get One Free shampoo and conditioner set from Boots of Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair Liquid Silk Gloss Conditioner! Long name I know! It smells to me like coconut and almond, and is a thick creamy conditioner. It can be a bit "heavy" on your hair, so make sure you wash it all out thoroughly! It makes my hair much more manageable and shinier. I have had 3 comments from people saying how shiny my hair is since starting to use it 1 week ago! Yay! My hair's naturally quite curly, i straighten it a lot so it's getting damaged, and it needs to be very soft in the first place to look nicer after straightening - and stay that way.If you have dry, curly, fluffy, frizzy, coloured or damaged hair and want something to really work at a not-too-expensive price then I really do advise a Gliss conditioner. It leaves my hair always feeling shinier and silkier than other shampoos - AFTER I DRY IT, not just while I'm in the shower. I'm afraid this product has got to be the worst I have ever tried. It's not as if its really cheap but its supposed to be for Dry and damaged hair so I thought i'd give it a try. After I had used it, taking into account it took ages to wash out, I was so dissapointed. My hair was all tangled and seemed to stick together in clumps. After drying it felt really greasy and my hair is never greasy. The packaging is cheap looking and not very colourful. The one good thing I can say about this conditioner is it smells nice and I now use it to shave my lefs instead of foam. ... more

This is meant to be for people with tired and dry hair. Normally I don't use conditioner but I found this in the shower a week ago and have used it a couple of times. It seems to be pretty good. I mean, I can hardly rate it alongside any others because I don't use others. All I can say is that it leaves hair (even my normal shortish hair) nice to the touch and feeling rejuventated. On the minus side, it smells and feels more like chemical waste than something organic. ... more
