Seat Ibiza 1.4 5 Door Not so long ago I was driving around in an orange coloured Fiat Punto of a relatively old 1998 plate. Considering that fact that I work across the road from where I live and Himself has to walk 10 minutes to get to his work, the car is not often used and thus we care little...

Model: 2006 Ibiza 1.4 16v (75bhp) Sport 5dr Hatch As a university student commuting some 450 miles per week up and down the M6, I was looking for a new car to replace my ageing and somewhat alarmingly sickening Micra. The boxes that needed to be ticked were: comfort; good fuel economy; looks;...

Not a Bus

A Car

In June of this year, after a prolonged run of the RAC delivering me home from work via the hard shoulder of the M25, and once being towed for a mightily useful 30 feet by the Velvety Hi-Vis adorned Traffic Wombles before they stopped and left me stranded on the M4, I’d had enough. I was in the...

~ ~ Sorry if that title has misled you just a little. It doesn’t mean I have “retired” from my opinion writing here at Ciao, (or dooyoo) but I have taken a decision to take a far less active part in driving my taxi than in the past. What has this to do with an opinion about a...

I bought this car brand new on the 1st of September and have covered 1700 miles so far. Having already owned a Seat Leon I was expecting a quality car at a good price and I haven't been disappointed. This is the DAB special edition, meaning it has a more powerful 1.4 petrol engine(100bhp compared...

Great all round super-mini.

Alarm not fitted as standard.

My partner and I bought a new Seat Ibiza 1.4 S in March 2000 after buying a new Alhambra people carrier 5 months earlier and being very pleased with it despite having a few problems crop up. The value for money factor and the input of VW's engineering and technical ability and reputation were big...

Rear wiper washer tube keep coming loose

I have owned the Seat Ibiza sport for 1 year and 8 month now and I could not be happier with it. This was my first car and with there being so many decent hatchbacks out there I cannot truely compare how it drives to a clio for example. As for looks though I believe this car is by far the best...

Nearly bought a Saxo - wow, I'm glad I came to my senses! When shopping for my new car, I saw all sorts and sat in various driver's seats trying cars for size. What swung it was closing the door on the Ibiza - a hefty VW clunk - not what you find on a Saxo, Clio of Punto, where the doors are made...

**Following the comments I have received, here is my spangly, shiny new opinion** When I came to replace my clapped out old Polo I had a definite list of criteria that my car needed to fit, not least of which was asking price. I had a budget of roughly £1500 to get myself a new car. I wanted it...

“Seat Ibiza 1.4”

Nippy car, seats 4 in comfort, large boot

Interior not as well fitted as golf/polo

Welcome to my review for the SEAT IBIZA 1.4. If you're wondering why i am able to write reviews on so many different cars, its simple...... I've worked in the Car auction and Car hire business, so have driven too many cars to mention. Ciao suggests being factual, so i'll use headings, and be as...

Being an owner of the Ibiza now for 5 months and having tested the new model, I feel that I am now able to write an opinion about the car. My Ibiza is born in 1997 and had one careful Lady owner before I bought it. It has now 30000 Miles on the clock and I use it mainly for my 15 mile-journey to...

Reliable, strong and cheap to run

Appalling service, at least at my local dealer

Background After fighting to fit into my first car a k reg polo for 2 years I decided it was time to give up the unequal battle and find a car I could really fit into. I had a number of criteria which I thought my next car ought to fulfil first and foremost was cheapness (Iam a student!)...

I bought a Seat ibiza second hand for £3500 and its the best value for money i've had in a long time!!!! The car runs very smoothly (a bit of a step up from my clapped out fiesta!) and *touch wood* i haven't had any problems or faults that have needed replacing, my RAC card is feeling neglected...

I choose this car to be my first car when I was 16, I learnt in it and now I drive it everywhere. It's a 2000 Seat Ibiza and they are rare as it was onlyin production 2 years. So I'll start with the positives, it looks fantastic I've had silver multispoke alloys and the car is silver (best...

“Ibiza 1.4 DAB”

Good looking car and very nice to drive

Only 2 front speakers included (DAB only)

I've had the car for about a month now and im pleased i chose it. I was either going to buy a new Golf/Focus/Fiesta or the Ibiza. For me personally the Golf was a bit too expensive, the Focus wasnt as good looking and the fiesta wasnt technically as good as the Ibiza. I paid £9300ish for the car...
