Advantages: Excellent sound, light, comfortable, cheap Disadvantages: In-ear design may take some getting used to
...is my third pair of Sennheiser headphones (the others are full-size, audiophile quality phones that I use with my hi-fi and computer) so they are a manufacturer I know and trust to come up with a high quality product. Although they are very light, they are clearly well-made and durable, showing no signs of wear or deterioration after nearly a year of daily use. The "Y"-type cable has a longer lead to the right earpiece than the left, giving the option ...

Advantages: Solid sound, passive sound isolation, uber light and varying ear tips for comfort Disadvantages: Doesn't come with travel pouch accessories, sometimes in-ear seal is not secure
...already knew that I like Sennheiser as a manufacturer, with a pair of HD 650 (not portable but great for those evenings when everyone is asleep and you really want to watch a film in surround sound) I thought why not. And as much as I have always admired Bose and Shure on their skill at creating great headphones the price tag on them was, as a student, one my overdraft would not stretch to. So with the plan to spend about £30 and £50 with the hope ...

Advantages: Very comfortable, sound great, excellent value for money. Disadvantages: The in-ear style may put some people off. Not suitable for vigorous exercise.
First off. Let me mention that I have nothing against the quality of the standard white iPod headphones that came pre-packaged with my new iPod Nano. However, I find them painful to wear for any length of time and they keep falling out of my ears, so I went looking for a suitable alternative.
Having had a very good pair of Sony’s Fontopia earphones (with swappable rubber plugs much like the ones on these) a few years ago, I found the format and ...

Advantages: great sound, snug fit Disadvantages: wire is longer for the right ear
These headphones are called the Sennheiser CX300, they are in ear headphones that will never fall out of your ear. They provide great sound and block outside noise so you don't have to listen to your music with background noise.
Sound Quality

The sound quality on these Sennheiser headphones is awesome. You get lots of bass and the music sounds good. You will be listening to tracks you know well and be hearing new sounds with ...

Advantages: Bass driven, clear sound and noise-cancelling. Disadvantages: Expensive for headphones, but worth it.
...I decided to purchase the Sennheiser CX300 headphones as they were only £17.99 on Play.com and I had a voucher to use. So a few days after ordering, they arrived. It then took me another month to get through the packaging, Sennheiser obviously do not want you to return this item with its original packaging!
After wresting with the packaging, it was finally time to see what the hype was all about. Immediately I was impressed. They advertise that ...

...days later, packaged in the sennheiser box and are definately real.
i chose the black earphones over the white or silver, partly because i found them cheaper and also because they looked far more stylish in black.
when i took them out of the box and immediately tried them in my ears, they fitted perfectly... i then checked the two other sizes of ear plug to see if either were a better fit and eventually decided the middle size were best. each ...

Sennheiser CX 300 Ear Canal Headphones
I bought these headphones as a replacement for my ipod headphones which had passed on to the great walkman in the sky. Sennheiser have a great reputation for quality and after reading a few positive reviews online I went ahead.
These were my first ear canal headphones and it certainly took a fair bit of getting used to. When I first tried them out, I didn't get them sealed in correctly and the sound was ...

Advantages: Great sound clarity, very comfortable Disadvantages: Higher frequencies not as refined as other earphones
Listening to music... a great British pastime, and something I enjoy every day. It comes as no surprise, mainly because it has been said many times before, that the earphones bundled with the iPod, or any MP3 player, are not brilliant. The iPod earphones are better then most, but for a small investment you can get a lot more music for your money.
Sennheiser are well known for their high quality offerings, but this needn't break the bank. Their CX300 ...

Advantages: They really do cancel sound, amazing bass and clarity Disadvantages: Sometimes they can hurt a bit.
...here, I decided on the Sennheiser CX 300, as it was either that or the Koss ones- and they sounded pretty crappy judging by the responses on here. I am quite into my music. When i say quite, I mean extremley. I am a music junkie.
On my daily travels, I really do need something that cancelles out background noise. I travel on a bus every morning, where the driver insists on turning up the radio nearly full blast- that wouldn't be so bad, except ...

Advantages: Good Upgrade from Standard 'Phones Disadvantages: Difficult to get that 'just right' fit
...venture into the world of sennheiser and intrigued by the hype that is easily found in the world of Hi-Fi I was quite happy with my purchase.
Being bit of a Hi- Fi buff I tried not to set my standards too high and lower my expectations to thaty of a £20 pair of earphones.
Needless to say I paid quite a lot of attention to the sound quality albeit after a good 15 minutes trying to negotiate a decent fitment between the diameter of my lugholes ...

...Serious bargain!
Cx300s match the other Sennheiser 'phones 5 times their price in style, sound quality and durability. If you look around, you should find they come in white as well, to match your lovely iPod.
I reckon they'd even survive a dunk in a cup of tea.
And here are some unintelligable specs for you all to enjoy as well.

...get a more expensive pair.
The Sennheiser cx300 fit the bill perfectly. I tried all 3 sizes of buds and after much tooing and froing went for the middle ones and have had them in for up to a 4 hour stretch with no discomfort during or after. In fact they're so light and comfortable you DO forget you've got them in (got up a few times only to be brought crashing back down to my desk).
I did have to play about with the equaliser settings a bit ...

Advantages: Nice look, decent sound quality. Disadvantages: Not very comfortable.
On headphones there's only really one way to review them, and that's with the following categories:
Sound Quality:
The quality of these was reasonable and stayed at the same quality even at high volumes, pretty good though not amazing considering the price.
The Feel:
They felt like standard headphones, well made, but not expensive feeling in any way.
Comfort:
I'm not crazy about the ear shape of these. I do have rather small ears and so have ...

It brough these after a long battle finding a decent pair of headphones and i have never experienced music like this. I get the underground tubes around London every morning and all background noise simply vanished! Its the pinnacle of personal music, live sets are phenominal, you can actually hear every flick of every guitar string and the lead singers movement as he entertains the crowd, Try them you'll love them!
