    Advantages Advantages sound quality is amazing, long cord ,comfortable to wear for long periods of time

    Disadvantages Disadvantages they don't look great, they have cracked on both sides, expensive

    I am wearing these headphones as I type, so thought that now would be a good time to review them. I actually rescued these from spending the rest of their days in landfill as my fiancé was going to throw them out. He had been using them with his PC for several years (he thinks it was about five years) but fine cracks had appeared on each side. It didn’t affect their usability, but he replaced them with a headset with a microphone so no longer needed them.     Introduction Sennheiser are a well known name in the music industry in terms for high quality, producing mainly headphones and microphones, both for businesses and personal use. The HD555s are one of Sennheiser's "audiophile" offerings according to the website, sitting between the HD515 and the HD595. Currently selling for £69.99, these are hardly the cheapest headphones, but with so many rave reviews around I decided it was worth at least trying them out.     Advantages Advantages plays well and has a 2 year warranty

    Disadvantages Disadvantages maybe uncomfortable to some users

    Three months ago when i was looking for a better headsets for my Sony portable CD player, i was doing a lot of research on the internet until i came across the Sennheiser HD 555 which moved me and i decided to make a try with it. This headphones which were not so cheap could provide me exactly with the sound quality i was dreaming for a longtime. This headphone is punchy in the bottom-end and slightly rolled-off extensions in the uppermost highs.     Advantages Advantages V-comfortable. Sound is Lively, strong, lean & deep. Good highs & lows...

    Disadvantages Disadvantages They need time to wear-in to help the sound luster a bit more...

    COMFORT Velor sponge ear and head pads. What more should i say, they feel very nice to wear. The pressure to keep them on the side of the head is firm enough to make them feel secure but once again, very comfortable. SOUND QUALITY Contemporary Jazz (Dave Holland Quintet) is lively, the tones of wind and brass sound superb. I've recently tried a couple of 24Bit Electronica recordings (Jean Michel Jarre and Mike Oldfield ) that are hanging around my place and they sounded pleasant too. R&B (Usher & Mary. J.     One word . Superb these headphones are worth twice what i payed they are very high end,giving of the same awesome sound experience as my 1000 watt surround sound .There truely a brilliant buy. these headphones are cussioned and they are a shame to take off becasue of there extreme comfort .they are very light and give a ermmersive sound experience.I do nothing but reccommend this brilliant product. these headphones have one thing over most other competitors in that they kick sound out of the back which makes for a ultimate surround experience and when your watching a film in hd with these ... more
