Advantages: Has a big drum to fit in a big wash Disadvantages: A `quick wash' takes an hour and a half
My silver Servis washer dryer stands proudly among the white cupboards in my kitchen, looking quite chic next to its slightly shabby neighbour. The smooth lines on this modern looking machine would not look out of place in a Star Trek film. It looks great but how does it cope with the household laundry?
Any washer dryer might find it a challenge to keep up with two adults and two young children. Between the childrens messy activities; football, ... ...it at a time and then removed and more put in. It seems simpler to use a clothes horse unless you need something urgently.
On the whole, the Servis washer dryer is a welcome addition to our kitchen and with 2 young children I couldn't manage without it. ...

Advantages: large load Disadvantages: long drying time
I have had this machine for couple of years now and can safely say that it has some good and bad points.
First of all, as a washing machine it's excellent. It has 3 programmes , different options and features such as half load or extra rinse. Most of all , it has extra large space and you can fill it with up to 6 kgs of washing ( not that I weighed it but instructions tell you what makes up 6 kgs approximately ). It also has 1300 RPM which is on ... ...shakes less while spinning but I'm sure you knew that.
The only complaint I have is that the drying never seems to actually be complete. In fact I find myself drying for ages - hour and a half on average and the washing is still moist ! Is that normal? I know that when you use a separate dryer, this takes 30-45 mins and the clothes are DRY. Here, they are not which is a bit annoying and I end up air drying them anyway. Worst appliance I have ever bought!. I set the drying time on the maximum amount but the clothes come out as damp as when they went in.
When I wash on a hot wash the clothes come out covered in black marks and there are chunks of black stuff left in the drum. Engineers have been no help, keep telling me it's a build up of bacteria and sell me agents to deal with it which make absolutely no difference.
What do I like about it? It's size, great for a family but what's the use if doesn't work!
Taking it to the tip this week. Will not buy a Servis again. ...

Advantages: Nice looking machine Disadvantages: Customer service is appauling. Drier kept breaking
...time it has been the drier that has broke but the funny thing is I've only ever used it a handful of times so I don't believe that.
I would personally not buy a Servis again and I would not recommend their customer servis because you just get fobbed off ...
