Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Poor design and construction - didn't last despite careful use
Dryer part gave up after 1 year - looks like a design fault since other people reported the same problem. Very early on there was a "hot" smell or burning smell while drying, later it was accompanied by a loud noise. Basically water and fluff had got clogged where it shouldn't and rusted up the bearings. Advantages: Hot and Cold fill. Large Capacity. Quiet, Fast, Efficient. Disadvantages: No Delay timer.
...it for me direct from Servis didn't seem like it could be any worse - and in the end the deal was done perfectly with delivery on time and to fit in with MY schedule.
As for the actual machine - The main advantage for me is that it has a hot fill - I wash hot (non-bio - sensitive skin) and have a combi boiler so there seems no point in a cold fill machine heating the water for me. Unfortunately almost all manufacturers now make only cold fill, so ... ...It has all the functionality that any other machine has - apart from a delay timer (which I found quite useful in my first choice, a LG washer that only worked for 3 days). A variety of programs and settings for every criteria.
It is noticeably quiet when it's washing and appears to give a very clean and efficient wash.
It has a large wash AND DRY capacity, so no need to split the load between washing and drying. I did think the controls looked ...
