Neat and very cute

Advantages: Built-in camera. Lots of functions.
Disadvantages: Is expensive

...pay-as-you-talk. I got a Sharp GX10i. I paid £250 for it. Although, I have since seen it for sale for £219! This phone is exclusive to Vodafone. I did, in fact, by this phone from the Vodafone shop. The phone weighs in at 107 grams. To look at it is very sleek and pretty. It's grey in colour and has an oval shaped screen on the front which displays the time, date etc. It's one of those flip phones. It has the Vodafone logo imprinted on the front ...
...CAMERA The main reason I purchased this phone was because of the built-in camera. I have had a lot of fun with my camera! You will see the lens on the front of the camera. When taking a photo, just point the lens to the required shot, and you will see the movement of your camera on the display screen. To take a photo just press the main button which is situated above the numbered pad. Photo's take quite well, although I have noticed that it helps ...

Advantages: top class camera

I purchased this phone in November, after getting a new job and deciding to treat myself! Getting my phone out after purchasing this was no longer a chore, and became more of a necessity each time someone passed me or came over to talk (for a chance to show off my new mobile!). It’s a stylish phone, advertised by David Beckham, and is therefore a cool phone to have! It took me a while to get used to, but that is after upgrading from a phone from ...

Sharp and to the point

Advantages: Latest technology, large screen, memory
Disadvantages: Small SMS inbox, no 'active flip', difficult to hear the other party at times

I recently acquired the Sharp GX10i on Vodafone contract from The Carphone Warehouse Direct free of charge on Anytime 200. I was a little bit worried about this phone because whilst its feature-set is very good, it is not as small as some competing handsets such as the Sony Ericsson T610 etc. Anyway, my phone was delivered to me and I excitedly removed it from the customised 'Vodafone live!' box. Basically, the GX10i is the same as the GX10 but ...

The display is clear although in daylight it can be difficult to see the display - especially if it's dirty. This isn't a problem unique to the GX10i, however, the problem seems to exist with almost every colour handset on the market at the moment. Whilst in stand-by mode, pressing the left 'hotkey' takes you straight ...

...you go, and bought the Sharp GX10i from The Link. It cost £249.99 and is available from most telecom stores, exclusively on the Vodafone network. It is also available free with some of the pay monthly contracts, so it is up to the individual to price the options and pick the one most suitable for their usage. The phone itself is very stylish indeed. An attractive grey colour you can really be proud of this one. In it’s folded up state it fits nicely ...

The Sharp GX10i Review

Advantages: Stylish, good features, easy to use, Java capabilities
Disadvantages: Has an aerial, Quite heafty

I originally purchased this phone because of the stylish perception of the phone and the association with David Beckham. However when I fully charged it I realised the phone was much more than a fashion statement; the range of features and ease of use suprised me and it surpassed all expectations. If there are to be a couple of minor criticisms of the phone, they would be, (1) There is an aerial, which for blokes can be a problem when you're on the ...
...and (2) In my experience with the phone I have found that you are unable to send mms via irda (infrared), however apart from this the phone is great and I would recommend it to any one. The features are all clearly labelled and easy to access, they consist of: Messages - texting is easy, as the buttons are big and predictive text is an option and access to previous messages in your inbox is clear. There is also an option of having delivery reports ...

Advantages: IS A SMART PHONE
Disadvantages: QUITE BIG COMPARED TO OTHER PHONES

...the phone is a Vodafone sharp G10xi I will first describe the phone!! Although you can see the pic!! The phone is gray in colour, and realistically now the phone is quite big and bulky (comparing it to the phones that are the same size as lighters) It’s a flip phone, on the front it contains a small visual screen which indicates signal, a box symbol with a G, which flashes when you are sending MMS or connecting to Vodafone live, then there is the ...

When you get this phone it comes with an instruction book that is meant to help you learn to use the phone!! Though if you are anything like me I have never opened it – I prefer to learn by using!!! Which properly explains why I’m still learning stuff now months later!!!??? Anyhow ...

Designers should be poked with a SHARP stick.

Advantages: Large screen
Disadvantages: Bulky, expensive, difficult to use with confusing menu layout, poor photo quality, slow image update

...the better things about the Sharp in that respect is that it's pretty sturdy. But sturdiness comes at the cost of weight. It's not exactly the lightest flip phone on the market. The GX10i is awash with features. But that seems to be its downfall. Sharp's designers obviously didn't consider that easy menu navigation was an important consideration. There are so many options and features available that the menus are a mess. It can be very difficult ...
...This is also a camera phone. The image quality is okay but don't expect to be able to get the same image quality as a dedicated digital camera (don't expect that from any phone). It has a single zoom setting but you have to remember that the zoom is digital. This means that the zoomed image files are bigger. However it does give a markedly improved image quality. The biggest problem with the camera is the update speed of the preview on the screen. ...

it's good but not that good

Advantages: style, ringtones, games and easy to use
Disadvantages: a few annoying disadvantages

Firstly I would like to explain why I find a few things annoying about this phone. Previously I have been very fond of Nokia handsets but saw this phone and thought '"hey a David Beckham phone" and really liked the flip style which Nokia phones do not have. The GX10i looks rather modern and doesn't have many choices in colour (which to be honest would probably make it look cheap if there were) The phone is rather large compared to other camera phones ...
...that you can actually see your pictures via your phone. The buttons are bright and the screen is very clear making it easy to navigate. The only thing there is no flip up button for the phone so you have to flip up the phone manually :S The camera is great in a good light as long as you are not moving very fast (one of the best phones for pics I have seen) You can easily send your pictures to other mms users and download them to your pc via a data ...

...wasn't planning on choosing the Sharp GX10i when I walked into the Vodafone shop. I had seen it on the David Beckham Vodafone ads, and thought it looked quite sleek and sexy, but considered it far too expensive for poor little me. Also, I was a dedicated Nokia user who found it very difficult to figure out how non-Nokia phones worked. The lovely boy in the shop went through the various Nokia phones, then mentioned the GX10i. ...to I opted for the Sharp GX10i and my how glad I am that I did. First of all when it was delivered I was like a kid with a new toy I opened the box very carefully and looked what was in it, Contents in the box was the phone which is slightly larger than other phones. it has a flip with quite a large colour screen and the keys are quite big instead of little fiddely things which most new phones tend to have. I began to read the manual and was quite pleasently surprised to read that you only had to initially charge it for four hours (usually around 16 hours with other phones) so I put it onto charge whilst I got stuck into into the Manual which I ...

excellent phone that looks good and stylish!!!!!

Advantages: neat, stylish, easy to use, with camera
Disadvantages: very expensive

I bought this phone a few months ago on pay as you go, can't tell you how happy I am with it, I’ve always been a nokia man, mainly because nokias are very easy to use, but since having this phone ill never look back to a nokia. You can then hook it up to the computer and download pictures instantly through a cable (soooo easy). To take a picture its ...

Disadvantages: I don't think you can take predictive texting off!

I got one of these the other day and just sat looking at it's features. Well to start of with its a camera phone. You can send pictures (mms) and as with most phones you can send texts (sms). The quality of the pictures is not excellent but it is very good, I got some great ones of the Fireworks. Your phone holds about 70 photos.
