The Sharp GX15, a brilliant phone, which has almost everything a person could want in a mobile. ...any network by vodafone or sharp for a fee of £20, but from what I have been told about this is that it is not a very efficient service and I would recommend getting it unlocked by another service. The reception on vodafone around this area is not the best, but this phone comfortably recieves 3 bars of signal. ...was unsure of purchasing a Sharp as by my reckoning Nokia phones are the easiest to use and most consumer friendly. The GX15 has a very easy to use menu system and things are located where you would expect to find them. The camera button is conveniently located on the side, though can also be accessed via the menu screen. The volume button is also side mounted and easy to use. The phone is small and lightweight but manages to fit a decent rear mounted ...

Any phone that offers video recording, bluetooth, infrared, and excellent looks for under £80 is well worth serious consideration next time you want to buy a phone. This phone a small, lightweight stylish phone. It has a good appearance on the outside, on the phone you can take pictures and you can capture a video's on it i especially like the video capture you can have lots of fun with it. Also you can use voice recorder which means you can record people's voices or noises onto your phone. The GX15 at first glace seems to be a typical budget phone, however it has a lot of features for a phone in this price range. it is equipped with bluetooth AND infrared which means it can send and receive files from the very lastest and most expensive phones. It has a reasonable camera and you can add photos to your contact list so that when friends phone you see a picture of them on the screen. It also has a voice recorder, calender, alarm, etc ...

Sharp is an excellent alternative to Nokia, just as user friendly, with just a few little niggles which will surely be ironed out in the next model. Battery lifetime initially very good, but getting lower with use, in spite of never over charging it. Longer calls drain battery very quickly. Absolutely impossible to transfer data using infra red connection, given up after several minutes! Data memory has a very small capacity - will only hold about ...

Only other real weaknesses are that you have to turn fast text on every time you go into contacts or calendar, plus that the call duration is not displayed. I changed to this phone from a flip phone i find it much easier to use with the menu being very basic and 1 touch of the button. The camera is really good quality takes crackin photos in the dark and close ups. It also has the key pad locked control on it, the flip phones haven't. The phone comes with groovy ring tunes and it also has vodafone live on to download some more.The down side of this phone is the low battery life - only lasts for 2 days ...

I have just bought this phone and it is brilliant with all the features of a £300 phone for £99.
