Advantages: Does its job well Disadvantages: Ugly, average and cheap-looking
The sharp hc 4500 and 4600 models were introduced quickly to compete with the growing handheld market. Since palmtop and pocket pc computers have been rammed down our collective consumer throughts, the handheld genre has been near-descarded. However these sharp models have plenty going for them. The memory (16mb) is perfectly adiquate for anything you might try to do on a handheld computer, and the processor (p75) is eqaully sensible. Although there ... ...can be much more. the sharp models have colour LCD screens, which do their job well except with the more taxing end of the games market (i.e. Doom CE, Palm GB). Their keyboards are poor, but no worse than the rest of the models on sale today (with the exception of the the psion 5 series or later).
