Let The Nuking Begin

Advantages: Reliable and keeps the moisture in the food and the food tasting great

...reviewing my good old reliable Sharp Microwave. Now the model I am reviewing is the Sharp R259SL, It cost me £59.99 from argos just over a year ago and its silver, although I believe it also comes in white. Having seen both colours though, I much prefer the silver version as it looks more modern. I have to say this is the best microwave I have ever had, It has cooked all my food lovely and compared to some microwaves which can leave your food tasting ...
...Now for the vital statistics: The power output is 800 watts It comes under heating category E It has a 22 litre capacity which is 0.8 cubic ft It has 3 auto cook settings which are - Auto, Express and Express Defrost The Timer is Digital It weighs 12 kg It is 27.5 cm heigh It is 46 cm wide The Microwave door is push button operated To conclude, I am very happy with this microwave and if anyone is looking for a reasonabily priced microwave ...

Sharp R-259 SL Microwave Oven

Advantages: Good Sturdy Microwave, Robust, Easy Setup, Plenty of Functions
Disadvantages: Not Particularly Stylish

Good Sturdy Microwave - Robust and easy to use I've had this microwave for about 1 year since I won some John Lewis vouchers and purchased it in store. I probably would have picked a cheaper option from somewhere else if I hadn't won the vouchers. It's not the most stylish microwave but I do like the curved handle on the door. It's definitely a function over form product and it comes to life when you start to use it. Setup took around 5 mins following ...
...a range of options for power - from 100w (good for defrost) up to 1000w good for ultra fast cooking. Minutes can can be set up to periods of 10 seconds and there are a range of pre set cooking times based on the type of item to be cooked - e.g. meat, veg etc. Cleaning is easy and the inner glass plate and roller underneath is easily removed. No problems as yet, I would recommend this microwave oven to anyone looking for a reliable model with plenty ...
