...models, I stumbled across the Sherwood RD6103.
At first, I must say I wasn't particularly impressed. With only 65 watts of power per channel and no 6.1 or 7.1 support, I was sceptical to say the least. Anyway, as I was on a strict budget and the RD6103 did seem a good buy, I went to a local Hi-Fi dealer to try one out.
I was not expecting what I saw! In the flesh, the unit looked clean and professional, with nice touches such as rounded edges and ... ...unit.
It supports video switching, allowing a single connection to a TV with automatic selection of audio/video inputs.
The sound quality from this amp is spectacular, giving a full body to both music and DVD playback. I use the Monitor Audio Bronze B1 bookshelf speakers with this amp (See my other reviews for these!), and they really go well together!
