Sheryl Crow

Whenever someone asks me what artists I feel are truly, something special, I'll usually have Sheryl Crow come to mind straightaway. And most people I think will say that she's nothing special, and I beg to differ. No matter what people's taste in music is, I feel everyone appreciates a quality in lyrics. A prolific songwriter, Crow has turned out dozens of songs, from the catchy tunes, to the more heartfelt love songs. This is going to sound very corny, but the first time i listened to Sheryl's album C'mon C'mon i was away travelling in Brazil. I bought the CD at the aiport leaving the UK, and listened to it for the first on my discman while walking on a secluded beach in Rio de Janeiro, ealry one morning. I was listening to 'Soak up the Sun' (track 2) watching the sun come over, walking on the sand, with the waves slightly crashing on the shore.
