I picked up a pair about a year ago when I was about to embark upon a little bit of traveling and I don't know how I would have coped without them. The quality is absolutely sensational for the average user (me) and I feel like I'm constantly noticing new bits in the background of my music that I was entirely oblivious to through lesser 'phones. In terms of comfort, they come with three different designs ... ...ensure a tight fit for anyone's canal. The cables slip unobtrusively over the top of the ears themselves and down your neck with an unnoticeable but sturdy stealthiness. Top marks here as I have on several times put them in so I could listen to music while I went to sleep and not taken them out until the morning!
The accompanying protective case is the cherry on the cake as it ensures the durability of the equipment while remaining portable enough ...

...thses units can be fitted. Shure actually reccommend this for a perfect fit. They also supply a number of differant sizes of ear plug to fit onto the speaker stem so try all sizes until a nice fit is achieved. These rubber plugs do tend to get a little dirty with a lot of use but can be cleaned with a weak soapy solution.
Overall a brilliant earphone with excellent sound qualities although fitting into the ear can be a bit of a struggle but can ...

Had these earphones for a year now and they have been fantastic. The sound quality can only be beaten by the E4C or E5C. Very good tone and bass range. The only two minor negatives i could suggest is that the small cylindrical end piece of the earphone is removable and may snap off causing damage if you dont use the supplied protective case! (If they do snap off, use Loctite superglue). The other point is that they can become quite dirty if not regularly ...
