Advantages Advantages Fantastic low price, stylish look, user-friendly design and very durable

Disadvantages Disadvantages Limited user options, slightly bigger than some modern contenders and virtually no gadgets

The mobile phone market appears to be struggling at the moment. This is due to the fact that most people now own at least one mobile phone and really feel no need to upgrade. This has resulted in new expensive phones with picture taking gadgets, java games (etc) being brought out in a desperate attempt to boost sales again. If you don't have hundreds of pounds to spend and you want to buy on pay as you go, the new pricy phones may have helped you out because those phones which are now not the latest design and don't have the latest features are now at very affordable prices. I have owned a ... more

Advantages Advantages good looking, small, works most of the time.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Has an annoying fault.

I have had my c35i for about a year. Here is my experience of it. Positives --------- It is reliable, day-to-day. The sound is clear and it is small and light. The battery recharges reasonably quickly and the battery life seems stable. There is a good range of features. It looks reasonably attractive and the ring tones can be customised, i.e. you can write your own. I assume that you can download custom tunes but I haven't tried. Reception is as good or better than my old Nokia. It is internet enabled and although WAP services are pretty dull so far, it works reasonably well when I have used ... more

Advantages Advantages small lightweight, vibrate feature

    Disadvantages Disadvantages high SAR

I have had this phone for nearly two months, and i am totally satisfied with it. The fact that is has only three lines of txt is not a problem on WAP as reported by some magazines. Before owning this phone i was familiar with the nokia interface and at first the siemens seemed strange to use, but after a week or so i totally adapted to it. The phone is feature packed, and the fact that you can store 200 names, 100 on SIM , 100 on phone is great news , cause i ran out of space on my nokia phone. THe word of warning i have about the phone is that in a recent independent test, for SAR radiation ... more

Advantages Advantages Simple to use and attractive

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not being able to download ringtones and icons

It's little, smart looking and easy to use. No it's not a pixie on their way to a buisness meeting but the Siemens C35i mobile phone. I bought this phone as my first ever mobile phone, although I had used mobiles before. I liked its size, general apperance and the way the salesman told me how great it was. He wasn't really wrong! The phone has two rectanguler buttons which control scrolling and selecting, they can be a little bit fiddly to use if you have big fingers. There is also a phonebook button for quick access to the phone large phonebook. All the number keys can be used as hotkeys and ... more

Advantages Advantages Small, light, plenty of features, WAP capabilites.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor navigation, features you will rarely use.

To date I have had three mobile phones. I started off the the Nokia 402 and then progressed on to the Nokia 3210 both of which were on the Orange network. However, whilst wondering around the twon one day I noticed an unbelieveable offer in of the mobile phone retailers windows ... Get a brand new WAP phone on the BT Cellnet network and receive £180 cashback. Now this certainly interested me but I knew there had to be a catch somewhere but I got some information anyway. Basically all I have to do is pay £17 per month, I get 1200 free minutes which I can use on WAP and then after 6 months I ... more

Advantages Advantages small, lightweight, user definable features

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

Stop press !!! - I originally had a BT Cellnet U phone, needed to upgrade to a better phone, looked around all deals and phones, then spotted this cute number !! But really, its smaller than the U phone, 1 gramme lighter, more information displayed on screen at any time, WAP enabled, you can create your own ringtones (a buying point for me, as I am a dj !!). I got this on a 'Pay As You Go' package, since I only use the mobile frequently, but be aware, on the 'Pay As You Go' package, you cannot use the fax facility. Otherwise this is a great phone, with a lot of user customisable features ... more

Advantages Advantages It is the best phone ever, it is a good wap provider, sends and recieves fax and sms very very fast

Disadvantages Disadvantages I cant think of any

I wanted a wap phone so I decided I would get a Siemens c35i and I must tell you that YOU CAN'T GET BETTER. It is the best phone that I ever got and I have went through a lot. Although the wap service is slow it takes only a few seconds to connect to a phone number. Also it sends and recieves sms text messages very fast. A lot of people do not like the dictionary help on this phone but you just have to learn to accept it and eventually you will be typeing messages 3 or 4 times as fast as your average speed. Also it has a good effect on friends who ask you over and over again to have a look at ... more

Advantages Advantages Loads of great features, low price

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Some vague instructions

I bought this mobile just before Christmas because I liked how it looked and was very reasonably priced compared with others in the shops. It is packed with great features including 4 (quite addictive) games, stop watch and countdown timer, ability to record appointments, send and receive emails and surf WAP-enabled web sites. It comes with 21 ring tones and a composer to make your own (but be warned, this is much more complicated than it sounds) and a vibrate alert too in case you don't want to be disturbed. One of the most attractive things about this phone is its size - it is not too big ... more

Advantages Advantages Small, stylish and fairly cheap. WAP

Disadvantages Disadvantages Aerial sticks out, cant change cover

My first ever mobile was what could have been described as a self-defence weapon - in another word it was a brick. It was a Philips Diga on BT Cellnet. I decided I needed something a little more mobile, I did not want to have to pull it after me in a little cart. I decided upon a Siemens C35i on the orange network. This was on the pay as you go scheme and I originally bought it for £99. Now however, it can be found for much cheaper than this. One of the benefits of this phone at the time of buying was the vibration feature and the presence of WAP. I spent a lot of money at first on WAP finding ... more

Advantages Advantages quick address book access

Disadvantages Disadvantages penchant for SIM spitting

C35i is fine for a fairly no-nonsense, reasonably user-friendly and ultimately practicable mobile 'phone. Light, compact and inoffensive in design it might not appeal to those whose obsession with their fashion state includes what colour/style their telecoms take on but to the sane majority who have a mobile for making calls on the move and want a minimum of fuss when doing it, the C35 is just great A SIM card problem occurred at the start...doesn't always seems to click home truely...but other than my inability to effectively find an easy way to tap in the web addresses I want to access it ... more
