...Quite a clever little slogan Siemens use for their phones, but I think it is very well put. They have chosen a great snappy little title and it suits their phones very well. After my unfortunate encounter with the Trium Mars (read my op) I decided after one and half years to get a new phone! The Trium was great but it was very boring and it was just basically crap. So there I was in The Link browsing around – I kind of had the idea of what ... ...way if you have a Siemens phone go to Siemens.co.uk and go to the mobile part and register with them. You get to get two free ringtones or graphics! I am only going to give this section a poor 7/10 as it does not do a lot and the features are only there for them to look good.
=Profiles= In this section you can choose the style of sound or place you are. There is also the option of car kit (you can set it up to work). There are eight spaces in this ...

Advantages: Small comfortable to use, robust, ageless design. Disadvantages: Nothing to warrent mentioning here
The Siemens C45 is getting a bit long in the tooth as far as mobile phone technology is concerned, but seeing that my wife and I have had over 3 years of trouble free service out of two C45s, I thought I would do a review. In my view Siemens are to be congratulated on this phone. Before I got the C45, I had one of the early pay-as-you-go vodaphones from Tesco - remember those? Anyway, one day I was getting into the car and didn't notice that I'd ... ...It still worked OK but the slot to plug the charger in was completely smashed. So a new phone it had to be and off I went to the Vodaphone shop in Cardiff. Because I was not a heavy user, I would stay with pay-as-you-go and this little neat little C45 measuring 12 X 5cms caught my eye for £75 and with a little bit of bartering (I always barter) they threw in a leather case as part of the deal. I simply whipped my sim card into it so I could keep ...

Advantages: A small, nice looking phone with a good range of features - and how many mobile phones have chains of ducks walking across the screen? Disadvantages: sometimes slightly slow and, for Nokia familiars, a bit dificult to use.
...each one. With the Siemens C45, however, I have so far shown no such impatience.
OK, so the Siemens C45 was not my first choice. I was besotted with the Samsung T100 and the Motorola V70, with coloured screens and twirly bits and gadgets galore. However, these proved slightly on the expensive side, and I am not financially gifted, so I set my sights a little lower. And I wasn't disappointed.
The Siemens C45 is around £80 on Pay As You Go, a relatively ... ...foresee people having with the Siemens C45 is working out how to use it; as a previous Siemens owner, I had no problems but I have friends who own Nokias and do not understand my phone. To me, it's simply a case of having a glance through the manual but people who are a trifle impatient may not like this.
I can't say that I know how this phone compares to others in terms of robustness, apart from having dropped it once on concrete - it still works, ...

I recieved my Siemens C45 pay as you go mobile in October 2002 let me tell you all about it.
APPEARANCE
It is silver in colour and it fits snugly in the palm of my hand, the back pushes up quite easily to access the battery and sim card, it is extremely light weight. I love the size and weight of it as it easily fits in my pocket or handbag without taking up too much space.
PHONEBOOK
The phonebook is easily accessible as there is a button on ... ...and picture messages to other Siemens C45 phones.
RECORDS
This is a list of the last 10 missed calls, the last 10 calls recieved and the last 10 numbers dialled. I find this very handy especially if it is a missed call from someone unknown in my phone book, I can access the number through records and give them a call back to see who it is, if it is someone who`s number I would want to keep then I have the opportunity to save the number to my phone ...

Advantages: Small and Lightweight Disadvantages: Not good for fat fingers!
...new, state of the art Siemens C45.
The phone is small (4" x 1.5"), don’t know what that is in new money!. Currently I am connected to the Vodaphone network and have so far found the reception to be of extremely good quality. The 'standby' time for the C45 is 300 hours, with a talk time of 200 minutes. Three games are built into the phone, although it's not a good idea to play these, as they are very addictive!!
WAP is also included with this ... ...is exceptional.
The phone Siemens C45 is availble from most phone shops and is priced at around £100.
Overall, I would highly recommend this phone. Once again, thank you for reading and I do hope that this opinion is of use to you. If I have missed anything, please let me know and I will update the opinion as necessary . ...

Advantages: It's not a Nokia. MP3 Player Disadvantages: Fascia scratches.
...comments on price.
The Siemens C45 comes with two different fascias, silver and blue. The silver looks cool for about two weeks but easily becomes scratched so take care not to keep it in a pocket with your car keys! After that I switched to the Blue cover, which is wearing well and looks neat.
The size of the phone is compact and lightweight so it can fit into very small pockets and won't stretch your jacket out of shape, but I have often had ... ...at the time returned her Siemens C45 (much to my relief as they looked identical) as she said she couldn't operate the buttons. I've got rather stubby fingers myself though, and I've learnt to cope quickly enough, so I wouldn't let that put you off, but again, sobriety will help with using the controls.
The MP3 player is superb, coming with a 32mb memory card which can fit around 70 minutes worth of music without too much distortion. The mp3 player ...

Advantages: They all live happily ever after... Disadvantages: Mobbie dies....
...old coonskin of Mobbie, the Siemens C45. Sadly, C45 had not been broken the news and was in a very bad state. It was obvious that Alex could not leave him there. So after paying a rather large £130, Calvin (Siemens C45 – they have names you know!) and Alex set off back home! After many hours of playing with each other (hey hey hey! I know what you’re thinking – tut tut!) They now know each other very well! Alex feels sad again of Mobbie’s death, ... ...soon happy once again!
But now you must be wondering ‘How could Alex have just got over Mobbie like that? Is just a heartless monster? What’s Calvin got that Mobbie hasn’t? Well, you’ll be pleased to know that Alex is not a heartless monster and you must understand that it took a lot for Alex to come to terms with the death of Mobbie. Calvin unfortunately has got more features that Mobbie. For starters, he’s got an orange screen! None of your boring ...

Siemens C45 would be recommended to any buyers. When you see it you automatically think professional, and the front of the phone shows off its class. Siemens is a major phone company so you know that you will get your moneys worth from any of their phones.

Advantages: Indestructible Disadvantages: Only stores 15 text messages
I bought this phone back in 2002 when I started at university, and have had it in use ever since.
Despite not having many features, it is more than adequate for my needs.
It even may be a homing phone, as I got robbed and almost killed last year, and still ended up with it.
I paid about £60 back then for this phone, including £10 worth of credit, which wasn't a bad price for 4 and a half years worth of usage.

* Balloon Shooter, can you work out what to do? Just burst the balloons as they move up the screen before they go out of picture. - 6/10
The phone also has access to the internet, but ...

I previously owned a Siemens M35 and because it was so good as soon as the C45 was released I bought it! And I have not been disappointed with it at all!

Advantages: Resistant to bumps & small Disadvantages: Low sound quality
...a long time. That’s why Siemens C45 will shortly just be a simple memory of how good phones used to be. It has been sharing a year and a half of my life, not bad to be a mobile, so I have learnt some things about it. ...phone matching my height. The Siemens C45 is light, compact and you stand a chance of losing it in your handbag, so be careful!
Unlike the nokia phones, the Siemens series don't have many customisation opportunities. However, I had my phone going on 3 years now. I started off with the slightly older model, but then it suddenly decided one day that it didn't want to work anymore. It was still under guarantee and thankfully, the lovely people at siemens ... ...a replacement. This one's been incredibly lasting as well. I'm clumsy, so I've dropped it a few times, but it's a true soldier and hasn't broken (yet!)! The buttons are small, so if you have fingers the size of fat pork sausages, I wouldn't recommend it. Other than that the only problem is the speed. When you turn it on, the phonebook and inbox/outbox take a while to load so you have to be careful you don't make the phone crash (which it does). Patience ...

Advantages: erm..nice shade of blue! Disadvantages: Where do I start?
This phone landed on my doorstep, replacing my sharp GX10 which was stolen in a house burglary. Alas, I resented the phone before I even switched it on!
Basically, this is one of the worst mobile phones I have ever owned, and one I would like Ciao viewers to know about!

The other good points are that the menu's are adequately easy to use and the battery time is very impressive. Thats where I end the flattery!
The phone also comes with a fully automated switch-off system, meaning when your in the middle of typing a text message or just scanning the option menu's..it crashes then turns off! Maybe it's just my phone (It started doing this in it's first week). It has been replaced and the replacement continued ...

Advantages: Fully featured Disadvantages: Very Unreliable and breaking down
Why not? Because the build quality on these phones is awfull. Myself, my girlfriend and another friend all bought one fo these phones at roughly the same time. We all bought them for the same reason, they seemed good value for money, well featured phones at a reasonable price (at the time I bought mine, the equivalent Nokia was 20 quid more expensive.) I didn't think four years ago, when I bought my first mobile handset, that I will need my mobile handset as I need it.
