Fashion or Function?
Review of Siemens SL65 by
ReeVIEW
Advantages: Stylish, functional and excellent keypad structure
Disadvantages: Disappointing camera, fairly low quality screen
...etc.
Firstly, this was the only Siemens i have ever purchased and so the layout and usability was completely new to me - although picking it up is not difficult (its a phone!). Ive always felt Siemens as a company were below the competition in phone manufacture. Companies such as Nokia, Samsung and Sony-Ericsson are by far more advanced in their development and this shows in the internal 'brains' of the SL65. The menu is much like a newer symbian ...

Great phone-insurance needed
Review of Siemens SL65 by
seamonkey27
Advantages: lots!
Disadvantages: had to be replaced due to serious fault
...Being a great fan of Siemens mobiles I expected an easy to use, reliable phone. I got the phone on contract so didnt technically pay for it but it was valued at £299 for insurance purposes (from dialaphone). The phone has a colour screen, MMS, GPRS, infared, digital camera and many more features but these in particular are the most important and what attracted me to the phone.
I have found the camera to be superb. You can choose from a variety ...

Siemens SL65
Review of Siemens SL65 by
happycamper
Advantages: Easier to use than SL55
Disadvantages: A lot
...calculator, stopwatch, alarm clock etc.
The Siemens SL65 comes standard with three games, which are: Bubble Boost (a platform game a bit like rayman), Golf Pro 3D and Siemens Rally all of which can be quite addictive if you start playing them. It also comes with some applications, Download Assistant (a program that searches the WAP internet for content for your phone), Fit & Mobile (an exercise program), Life Manager (a program that lets you set ...

Drum Roll Please...
Review of Siemens SL65 by

Advantages: Small and Lightweight, Lots of Features, Attractive
Disadvantages: Battery life could be longer...
...Boost, Golf Pro 3D and Siemens 3D Rally), comes crammed-full of little animations and pictures, and has a lot of cute little polyphonic tones.
Handling-
In my opinion the SL65 is quite easy to use. It has a little joystick that looks small and prone to mistakes, but is actually quite a cool little addition that's easy to handle. Writing texts is quick and easy, and even faster if you switch on the 'T9 Input' ( a litle thing that writes words very ...

Smooth and sexy Siemens
Review of Siemens SL65 by
oldwasp
Advantages: Good looking, nice sliding action easy to navigate.
Disadvantages: Poor camera, easily scratched screen turns off in your pocket.
Had this phone 18 months now so this review is a bit over due.
But you can still buy the phone new or second hand, so it must be popular to have lasted this long as phones seem to be continually moving on. If their no good they just get discarded and replaced with a newer model, that doesn't always mean better.
Prices for this phone range from, £150 to £200.
But it is also available on a cantract.
Mine came free on a Vodafone contract with ...

Disadvantages: Battery doesn't last a huge amount of time

Sounds and Pictures and that-
The Siemens SL65 comes preloaded with many fun tones and sounds, aswell as still and moving little animations. It also includes pictures of beautiful sights, such as a pretty tiger and a mountain.
Some other little things-
Aswell as all those great things, the phone also comes with all those other little features that make ...

An Awesome Phone!
Review of Siemens SL65 by
picklesrocks
Advantages: Small, Sexy, Light, User friendly
Disadvantages: Screen scratches quite easily, camera not great.
...when i got this phone. Siemens have done it again! The Siemens Sl65 is everything i would ever want in a phone and more. It is amazingly easy to use, very small and has a very sexy design. I absolutely love the way it slides, it comes with many sounds and a few awesome games. The only thing i was a bit dissapointed with was the camera, it does have a x5 zoom and a lighting control, but the pictures never come out great. But to be honest if i ever ...

Review of Siemens SL65 by

Advantages: Nice looking+1 megpix camera
Disadvantages: Complicated to use
...my son had an older siemens phone i did'nt like.I did not like it because i just could'nt get my head around it,like finding the ring tones in less than 10 min and when i did find the ring tones could'nt remember how i got there it was just as bad with settings. To my horror this new nice looking siemens is as bad if not even more complicated to use. I have had many phones that i have soon got use to using with out bothering with the manual. but this ...

Good value mobile
Review of Siemens SL65 by
becks22
Advantages: Stylish slim design
Disadvantages: The sliding mechanism is a little disappointing
Overall i was quite pleased with this phone. Apart from looking gorgeous the phone has loads of features. To start with its really quite small which is really handy for carrying it around (and looks pretty cool ;) ) However, this means that the keys are pretty tiny really so its sometimes a bit awkward to text. The sliding mechanism is also not as smooth as i would've expected. The phone does has a pretty good camera, which if taken in good lighting ...
