5 Stars A Gold Star for Silver Cross Review with images 20/05/2013

Advantages Advantages Brilliant design, enormous play value for any little girl who loves her dolls

Disadvantages Disadvantages The back flap of the hood is very, very irritating

~x~x~x~ Hollie And I Do Pushchair Addiction ~x~x~x~ My name is Chris and I'm a pram/pushchair addict. There, it's said. I have four children and have owned over one hundred assorted prams, pushchairs and strollers - I seem to have passed this addiction on to five year old Hollie who, at her great age, is already on her seventh dolls pram, although I must say this fabulous Silver Cross Ranger pram is a keeper and not one I plan to replace any time soon. She's had it for eighteen months now, it being a present for Christmas 2011, and it's been played with every single day since then alongside ... more

5 Stars My daughters favourite pram Review with images 19/05/2012
    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Well made, grows with little one

Disadvantages Disadvantages Padding comes off the handle

We brought this pushchair for my daughter for Christmas as any little girl she really loves dolls and although she has had other pushchairs I liked the style of this one and at £35 I decided to buy it for her. It is available from all large toy stores and also a lot of the supermarkets too. Setting it up When you receive the set it is flat packed and you do need to add the wheels to the pram but this really only takes a few minutes and even with all the other toys we had to put together ready for the morning this was not a hassle and really was one of the easiest to set up. Then you just open ... more

Advantages Advantages Realistic, lightweight, easy to push

Disadvantages Disadvantages Press Studs hard to open and close

My 4 year old and 2 year old daughters have one of these prams...EACH. I would say this Silver Cross Ranger Pram is one of the smaller doll’s prams on the market, but it is by no means lacking in what it provides for the budding young role playing child. With my children being quite close in age and with similar interests, we knew it would be impossible for them to have one pram to share, so we had to get them one each, and these seemed like the most suitable option, size wise (the pram body is approximately 55cm long and 30cm wide) and price wise. If you look in Toys R Us/Tesco/Argos they are ... more

    Advantages Advantages realistic, easy clean.

Disadvantages Disadvantages only one slightly adjustable height

I bought this pram for my daughters third birthday and she hasn't put it down since. It is at an ideal height for her and with being able to slightly adjust the handles I believe will last her a few more years. It seems rather durable, she has put more weight than recommended into the pram yet its still here. I like it because it looks like a real mummy's pram and my daughter can pretend to take her dolls out for strolls with something realistic. I have found it easy to clean which is really handy, as anyone with toddlers will understand. I would recommend this pram to anyone who is ... more

    Advantages Advantages Really safe

    Disadvantages Disadvantages a little expensive

I brough this pram for my daughter who was 2 at the time, and it quickly became on of her favourite toys. The pram seems a little expensive but comes with lots of great accessories a rucksack, changing bag and a comforter. It fits even my daughters larger dolls. It is really safe a sturdy, with lots of covering on all hinges and corners. It has quite a wide wheel base and so is really sturdy and will not easily tip over. It has an adjustable handle so it is easy for even little ones to use. It has been made to look and function like a real pram, with movable sun hood, a rack for shopping and ... more

Advantages Advantages folds flat to store, comes with accessories, carry cot, shoulder bag, realistic design

Disadvantages Disadvantages cannot be fully washed

This pram is one of the best investments for my daughter. It it hard wearing, and very realistic, a real 'mini me'! It comes with a bag and has a shopping basket underneath. The wheels are sturdy and the handle is adjustable for when she grows. It also has a carry cot and has room for larger dolls (up to 50cm). Overall, a real good buy which will last many years, and is easy to wipe clean, although it cannot be taken apart to be put in the washing machine. Shop aroound for bargain, cheapest I've found is £19.99 on amazon, up to £29.99 in toys r us etc. The pram is quite weighty and can handle ... more
