    Advantages Advantages COORDINATION

    Disadvantages Disadvantages BORING

I REMEMBER HAVING THE STANDARD VERSION OF SIMON WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, IT USED TO DRIVE ME INSANE, WATCHING THE LIGHTS FLASH AND THE BLEEPING SOUNDS. IT IS A GAME OF SHEAR COORDINATION, HAVING TO COPY THE SEQUENCE OF LIGHTS. IT HAS DIFFERENT LEVELS, BUT WHEN YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE HARDEST LEVEL THE GAME TENDS TO BE LEFT IN THE CUPBOARD. HOWEVER I FOUND IT MORE EXCITING TO PLAY IT IN THE DARK, AND EASIER I THOUGHT. I RECENTLY BOUGHT A SMALLER VERSION FOR MY SON, BUT HE HAS FOUND IT THE SAME AS ME, ONCE COMPLETED, NEVER PLAYED AGAIN! ... more

Advantages Advantages Bright Lights, Fun Sounds

Grab 2 "D" batteries. Turn Simon on and follow his lead. Simon will light up one of four coloured button; Red Blue, Yellow or Green (each with an accompanying sound). You follow Simon's lead. Then Simon will that first button and a second one. You follow 'Simon's' lead. Next Simon will choose 3 colours then four, then five. If you are lucky and chose level one then you may have followed Simon's lead and beeped out the 8 button sequence. You'll hear Beep, beep beep beep that means you won. If you pressed a button out of turn you'll hear bomb and have to start again. This game costs $50. Anyone ... more

Advantages Advantages COLOURS AND LIGHTS, TIMEWASTING

    Disadvantages Disadvantages TIMEWASTING, FRUSTRATING, BORING

I got this product as a child. I think relatives thought it would be a fun, learning experiance to copy stupid lights. I didn't enjoy it as it got too frustrating and very boring after a while. The same thing over and over again. I don't think anyone should buy this product, but if buying it for themselves maybe they should have alot of spare (nothing to do) time. It is alright value for money if this is the sort of game that you are interested in. But I wouldn't go out of my way to buy more than one version of it, ie computer or console. Its really not that good. ... more

Advantages Advantages Hercules-like strength combined with the texture of a newborn lamb

Disadvantages Disadvantages I wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of him - not to be messed with.

Simon, as if he needs any introduction has been described in The Times as 'God-like' and in Mirror as 'Awesome' - he has also had his designer kitchen featured in Hello! Magazine. I think these are very accurate statements about the man but they don't tell us the real Simon - the Simon who gave his feet to an orphan who had stepped on a land-mine, the Simon who stopped an attempted coup in Bangladesh using his extraordinary knowledge of Origami and the Simon who regularly sacrifices his life for his country. Born the first son of a simple Northern Peasant family Simon quickly excelled - a keen ... more
