Advantages Advantages Cheap, sensitive to skin, no stinging

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can take a while to dry

Deodorants are, as all of you, or maybe only some of you will agree, are an essential beauty buy. Some of us like roll-ons, some like sprays, and others like sticks. Me personally? I like to have a roll-on, but always make sure I have a spray in the house, as sometimes, especially when having just shaved under my arms, I need to be out of the house ASAP, and roll-ons have a bad reputation for stinging the hell out of you, so most aren’t handy when you are in a rush! So, to try and avoid the stinging, I thought I’d try Simple as they claim to be kind to skin and alcohol free, which doesn’t help ... more

    Advantages Advantages It does work!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Soggy pits all day!

Deodorants. It’s something that we should all use I am sure you’ll agree! With so many different ones to choose from I guess we all have our favourites whether it be a particular brand or specific fragrance that we prefer. Now usually I am a Soft & Gentle kinda girl! and use their aerosol version. Over this last month though my skin has become very dry and my eczema has flared up again! (it’s been a stressful time in my life lately!) As a result of this I have been using fragrance free products to help avoid any further irritation to my skin. Whilst shopping in Superdrug last month I spotted ... more

Advantages Advantages Quick-drying, no staining on clothes, works in cooler weather, good for sensitive skin

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive, doesn't work well in warmer/hotter weather

PRICE: Currently £2.20 for 50ml at my local Sainsbury’s, and £1.20 for 50ml at my local Factory Outlet shop I recently tried Simple Roll-on Deodorant/Anti-perspirant when I found that other brands which I had regularly used in the past, were no longer suitable for my now very sensitive skin. The product is easily recognisable, in a white container bearing the standard green/white colouring and the usual logo common to Simple products. There isn’t an immediately visible list of active ingredients on the container, but there is a message claiming it to be free from perfume and colour. On the ... more

Advantages Advantages Good for sensitive skin

Disadvantages Disadvantages Didn't work for me. Makes purple dye in clothes run when you sweat.

Introduction = My usual deodorant didn't seem to be in the shops any more so I needed to find a new deodorant. I prefer unperfumed deodorant and this was the only one available in the shop so I bought it. The packaging The deodorant is a roll-on and comes in a white bottle with a dark green lid. (It can help when you're trying to find it if you know what you are looking for.) The back label tells me that "Simple products are 100% perfume and colour free with no unnecessary additives, and have active ingredients to care for the needs of even sensitive skin." It then goes on to say how ... more

This product was recommended to me by someone who knew I suffered from an allergy to very strong perfumes. This deoderant is very effective, leaving no white staining on clothes or undergargments, which is very important. Very good for people who have an allergy to perfumes as the deoderant isn't overpowering. It was also kind to the skin leaving no irritation, especially after shaving! It dried fairly quickly after application which is important for busy people! I thought that it was very good value for money. Would recommend it to my friends. ... more

Advantages Advantages Good for sensitive skin

    Disadvantages Disadvantages stained clothes

I chose this deodorant because I needed to find one that did not make me itch. I have sensitive skin and the majority of deodorants I result in my skin feeling really itchy. This deodorant is fragrance free. and from the moment I started using this one the itching stopped. If you shop around you can buy it quite cheaply. In Wilkinsons it is just under £2 but it can sometimes be found in the 99p store for 99p. Although it is great for sensitive skin it does have some disadvantages. I found that it took a long time to dry and sometimes it was as if the rollerball itself had become too wet. I ... more

Advantages Advantages good for sensitive skin, fragrance free, no white marks

Disadvantages Disadvantages doesn't fight strong odour

This roll on anti-perspirant deodorant is for sensitive skin, but I think they must take out all the chemicals that actually cause it to work because it doesn't stop you from sweating, nor does it stop you from smelling. Basically, this is what you intend for it to do, so it doesn't do the job. The product comes in a 50ml roll on that is white with a green screw on top. It can be bought from most pharmaceutical like stores, including Boots and Superdrug. It costs around £1.99 and it lasts a good amount of time, but as I said, I have found it pretty useless, so much so that I threw it away and ... more
