    Advantages Advantages High quality writing; great photos; not 'elitist'

    The last review of this magazine was over 5 years ago now, so it's probably due for an update, especially since a few things have changed. Singletrack was always a magazine that catered for the more, shall we say, 'mature' end of the mountain biking spectrum. That might sound like a contracdiction in terms, after all what's mature about bombing down a section of rutted path in the middle of nowhere with a beaming smile on your face? But put it side by side with MBUK, or even Mountain Bike Rider, and the difference is plain to see. There's a lack of primary colour, in your face, shouting on the ... more

    Advantages Advantages Quality journalism for people who ride bikes in the real world

    These days there's two major mountain bike magazines in the UK, one of which assumes that you want to jump off 20 foot cliffs with your bike, the other one assumes that you're some cross-country racing whippet. Head off to one of the UK's MTB hotspots and you'll see that neither of these images fits the average mountain biker. The average mountain biker is a funny creature.
