A cross between Karaoke and X Factor this is more fun than you can shake a stick at. You need to have a microphone attached to your PS2, you can buy this game with the microphones included, or without if you already have microphones. Just got this today 2/5/2007. Have played by myself while girls at school, I can not sing to save my life, but it is so much fun. I always sing along to the radio and i can not believe how many of the words i got wrong. If you have children of any age that like singing i would recommend getting this singstar. we recently got a PS2 and bought this game along with it. It shows the video and the words are at the bottom of the screen which are highlighted when you need to sing them. Also it has bars which show the pitch of note, and if you hit the right note it will say exelent or cool. If you dont it will say awful, which is embarresing if you can't sing. After it scores you on the notes you did well and how well you sang and then if you did good enough ...
...get to no the song, you need some practice, but once you've sang it a few times you will no them. The songs on this are good, most are good songs that have been in the charts. Also if you have an eyetoy u can see yourself singing! But it doesn't record all of you singing, jst ur 'best' moments. Anyway, its extremly fun, well worth the money. ...
