The sitecom 4 port USB2.0 pocket hub... probably the most useless thing I have ever bought.
As USB hubs go, this one looks pretty reasonable, was priced fairly and the box led me to believe it would do what I needed from a USB hub, which i the same thing I would expect all USB hubs to do.
Well I couldn't have been more wrong.
On first impression it seemed ok. I plugged it into my pc and then plugged my USB mouse into the hub. Not a problem... ... ...the hub.
Email communication with Sitecom was most interesting. I was told by them that in most cases the hub will require additional power to work with more than 1 USB item.
As they said, there is a power socket on the side of the hub, but the hub does not come with the power adaptor needed and neither is it marked anywhere with what power adaptor to use, i.e. the voltage, polarity etc.
Basically Sitecom are selling a totally useless piece of ...
