Quite expensive, effects on last for so long

2008 is here and what better way to start the year than with a Ciao review! Well I must admit I can think of more exciting things that I could be doing but unfortunately I'm at work and I can't do most of them here! At least I can safely tap away on my keyboard, typing up my latest review and it...

Price, Pressure to buy products

So if you've read any of my other reviews I am on a never ending quest to find skin care products and hair removal items that mean little pain and no hair growth. I read about sk:n on the ciao reviews website and was quite concerned with some peoples experiences but I had already booked my...

I have had 8 treatments. I was told that 6 treatments would be enough initially. I was told that I was the 'perfect candidate' skin and hair colour wise. They now tell me it should be 12 treatments. I wish I saw your review before as I signed up around the time you put this review. I am also...

Go at your own risk! Acid dripped into my eye and nurse continued with treatment before tending to my eye!! I went to the East Finchley sk:n clinic expecting great results as I suffer from acne scarring. Before attending my appointment, I was sent an information pack about the clinic and...

Let me begin by saying that I have been going to Sk:n for some time now, first at Harley Street branch and now the Covent Garden branch. This review is purely MY personal experiences and opinions. At Harley Street I did Microdermabrasion and laser hair removal at the Covent Garden branch. The...

Lots! It doesn't work and very expensive

I have had over 15 facial laser hair removal treatments with Skin clinic and they do not work on Asian skin types. They try to sell sell sell. It is not worth a penny if you have Asian skin like mine. They also vary prices dpending on what time of day you call them or who you speak to. The Admin...

Great clinicians, fantastic rewards system

managing appointments is a bit hit and miss

I joined the Sk:n Clinic in Victoria around July last year when my skin was at it's worse. I had read up on lots of treatments and decided that microdermabrasion was going to save my life! I was wrong. But the clinician did lead me to glycolic peels which have! Of course this isn't a review about...

“Waste of money”

didn't work and cost a lot of money

I went to Sk:n clinic to have a small red spot between my nostrils removed as it sometimes bled and it didn't look very good. I was led into a small overheated room, perched on a stool in the corner, with a loud machine whilst the nurse quickly ran over some questions, took a quick look at the...

no advantages here

expensive, unprofessional, pushy approach

I've been going to one of their London branches for a while for laser hair removal. This time I chose a closer branch for microdermabrasion. To start with, the nurse refused to do it on me as, according to her, this was not what I needed. She recommended a peel (was it because peel cost £25 more...

Satisfactory

Friendly, helpful treatment staff

Unfriendly, unhelpful front desk staff

I decided after years of threading and waxing my face, it was time to get laser treatment done. I'd read really good reviews about the Sk:n clinic so booked a consultation at my local clinic on London Wall. In my opinion, the initial consultation was very rushed - I know they only allocate 15...

Sk:n Victoria is not good- AVOID. It is poorly managed and the customer service is shocking. I was quoted 280 with their 25% off sale for Juvaderm fillers and after it was done I walked up to the desk and was told to pay 370 (not at all surprised that reviewer below mentions they are on...

I went to the "sk:n" clinic in Sutton, located at the back of Sutton Hospital. I had paid £50 deposit after I had booked a consultation to see a doctor about Tattoo/Birthmark removal. I had high expectations seeing as though the company quickly rang me back after requesting a call back from their...

“Sk:n Clinic, Bristol”

published 28/02/2011

it has a central location, easy reach

staff is not friendly, treatments are too costly

I have been to this place for 3 times, the last being today. I had an appointment at 6pm and they made me wait for 25 MINUTES! Considering that my treatment only lasts for 15 minutes, this is an unacceptable waiting time. On top of all that, they have refused to give my student discount. OK, I...

Unprofessional

I attended the Harley street clinic to remove a small tattoo almost a year ago. The staff strongly encouraged me to buy a discounted package of treatments (approx £400 for 5 treatments) in addition to the aftercare products recommended for use. The mainly coloured centre of tattoo had pretty much...
