SlumberSac Sleeping Bags

My baby has just turned four months old and over the last few weeks has become very mobile in her cot, meaning she has been wriggling out of her covers and going on little adventures up and down her cot!! These sleeping bags are excellent inventions which I wish woul dhave been around when my own children were little. We use them for my grandchildren who sleep in them every night and they are fantastic. The idea of these sleeping bags is to keep the baby at a regular temperature throughout the night. With the sleeping bag they can't manage to kick it off or wriggle under neath it like they might a blanket so this is a much safer and reliable product for your baby to sleep with. My son hadn't slept throughout the night since we brought him home from the hospital, and that was more than a year ago. I have tried several sleep techniques- establishing a bed time routine by having a bath at night with bedtime wash and applying bedtime lotion, reading a book, winding down e.t.c but he would wake up at least twice during the night. Hard to rate this product except as a waste of money. I didn't get around to trying it as it fell apart the first time I washed it. It had a patch design and the stitching just came undone. I couldn't restitch it either as the material itself was falling apart with loose threads everywhere. I washed it according to instructions. I know that it is cheaper than other brands, but in this case, you don't even get what you paid for! It's a shame because it did look nice, but I would recommend that you get one from somewhere like Mothercare or get a Grobag, where you can be sure of quality. In the ... more
