Smirnoff Black Ice

I’ve always drunk Smirnoff ice occasionally but I find it quite sickly after a while but a friend told me Smirnoff Black Ice was more refreshing so I decided to try that instead. The bottle is black and grey and contains 275ml of the drink. The typical Smirnoff logo is written across the bottle and underneath this Black Ice is written. Having like Smirnoff Ice over the other drinks on the market WKD, Red Sqaure etc. It wasn't hard to convince me to try Sminoff Black Ice. I found that the taste was in fact a lot crisper and where as Sminoff Ice would sometimes make me feel sick and would be heavy on my stomach Black Ice wasn't the same! It was the same taste but with a better effect. Now the vodka in the drink is triple distilled and the drink has a sharper more tangy taste to it. ...

I have always drunk Smirnoff Red Ice until I got taste a friends Black Ice. I, like most people had been put off by the cold black and silver packaging, and as they aren't usually cheap when drinking in city pubs (as much as £3.80,) I tended to stick to what I knew. The drink is clear and obviously contains vodka, a citrus blend and I did hear that there is actually more GIN in these type of drinks than anything else. It's not particularly fizzy ...
...Black Ice is still as alcoholic as Red but far more refreshing. I found that once drinking it with a straw from the bottle (of course), I had drunk more than a few. It is more sickly than Red so I tend to start with Red, once this gets too dry and leaves you parched, then move on to black, quenching your thirst. Although feeling very merry, I have never had a hangover from drinking this, or a splitting headache that some other alchopops leave behind. ...
