The snickers packaging has changed since I last remember it but only with the addition of that afro haired dude called Mr T who was introduced in 2008 on a television commerical of where he fires Snickers from his big Tank at a lad who falls over during football and kicks up a fuss about a 'fake' strained ankle. THE WRAPPER The Snickers comes in a brown wrapper. Across the centre is written "Snickers" in bold, blue letters on a white background with a red border. The logo has a retro feel to it, sort of early to mid 1970s. ...and they've even brought out snickers ice-cream, they had it on promotion when it first came out, I bought a couple of boxes and I've been hooked ever since. ...you my addiction to the Snickers Chocolate bar I have been eating them since before they were renamed, as they used to be called marathon in the UK. Made by Mars, snickers bars contain all my favourite ingredients which are Peanuts, caramel and not forgetting Milk Chocolate, they also contain nougat and I do like this too but not as much as the other three. ...rescue, it tells us that Snickers was initially marketed in the 1930`s and believe it or not the chunky chocolate bar was named after a horse that was owned by the Mars Family!...If you don't ask you will never know! As well as the normal sized chocolate bar Snickers is available in King size, Fun size and miniatures. Snickers is a chocolate bar manufactured by Masterfoods, a firm based in Holland. They also produce many other favourites like Mars Bars, Bountys and Malteasers. Once called 'Marathon', they eventually were subjected to a name change: Snickers. Depending on where you are situated, you can purchase these for around 32 pence - 45 pence each.
