Advantages Advantages Smells fantastic, works well, brightens skin, works well with others in the range

Disadvantages Disadvantages There's no matching body spray

*Please note the packaging has now changed. I was extra lucky this Christmas, Santa brought me a large tote bag of Soap and Glory goodies. Well when I say Santa bought me, what I actually mean is that I waited for said tote bag to be reduced in price from £60 to £27 as it became Boots Star Gift of the Week and purchased it ready for Santa to deliver. In amongst the many goodies held within this bag was a fairly large 300ml tub of Sugar Crush Body Scrub. Unlike many of the Soap and Glory products, the tub housing the Sugar Crush Body Scrub is neither overly pink nor covered in overly busy ... more

Advantages Advantages Lovely sweet smell, great packaging

Disadvantages Disadvantages Exfoliating bits aren't invigorating enough

I got this in a Soap&Glory set which was on offer in Boots over Christmas. If you buy it on its own it costs £8.00 for the big 300ml tub from Boots. Packaging The tub is wonderfully presented and looks lovely. It is a clear tub with a clear wraparound label on it with an eye catching centre point with "Sugar Crush" written in white writing with pink around it. The lid is bubblegum pink and has a big label on it with all the info in pink and cream colours. It looks very girly and very cute, but without looking tacky or too young. My Experience The first thing I noticed when I opened the scrub ... more

Advantages Advantages Smell, exfoliates, good value

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

Exfoliating is a major part of my skincare routine as I have such dry skin, and as a result I am always trying out new body scrubs. My latest purchase is Soap & Glory's sugar crush body scrub, which appealed to me becausethe name reminded me a little of the Lush lip scrubs, except this can obviously be used all over the body. I am a huge fan of Soap & Glory as their products smell devine and are brilliant quality so I wasn't concerned that the product wouldn't be any good - I'm usually really wary when it comes to trying out new products as my skin is very sensitive, but I see Soap & Glory as ... more

Advantages Advantages smells lovely, exfoliates to leave skin clean and soft

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I have always tried to take good care of my facial skin – I exfoliate, cleanse and moisturise but realised around a year ago that I don’t do this for the rest of my body. Exfoliating the skin should be an essential part of everyone’s skin-care regime, but it is easy to forget! The point of exfoliating is that the scrub used will remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin and stimulate the skin to give it a healthy glow. Over the past few months I have been trying out various exfoliators, many of which have been reviewed on dooyoo. My latest trial has been of ‘The Sugar Crush Body ... more

Advantages Advantages Gorgeous smell and lovely smooth skin.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive but you do get a big tub of it.

So recently I went into Boots and came out with 3 random Soap & Glory products as they had a 3 for 2 offer on their range. This was the first time I had bought anything from Soap & Glory and I'd heard such good reviews of this range that I wanted to try some of their stuff! This Sugar Crush Body Scrub was one of the 3 products I bought. The first thing you notice about this product is the size of it. It comes in a huge 450ml tub and it weigh's quite hefty. The packaging of the tub is clear and you can clearly see the brown sugary and grainy substance in it. The lid is a lovely turquoise blue ... more

Advantages Advantages Effective and Luxurious, smells gorgeous and looks good in your bathroom.

Disadvantages Disadvantages If you like the scent of a product to linger then this one doesn't.

I have used various Soap & Glory products in the past with varying results and hadn't found anything that had grabbed my attention enough to make me purchase it again....until now that is! This Sugar Scrub is truely fabulous! I've got to admit that first and foremost it is the packaging that draws me towards this range, it's cool, it's funky, it's retro looking and it looks fab in your bathroom, but all that aside, I actually want a product that does what it says and that really works, and this does! This scrub is part of Soap & Glory's Spa range and is £9.00 for a large 450ml tub, which seems ... more

Now I love a good scrub, and I love Soap & Glory products. So not surprisingly, I had high expectations prior to using this product. Well, I’m pleased to report that it didn’t disappoint and I was thoroughly impressed with it. The Scent This body scrub is described as containing ‘smashed brown sugar & sweet lime, almond oil & macadamia grains’, and these ingredients come together to give it a nice sweet smell, offset by the citrusy notes of the lime extract. It’s a pretty unique fragrance, and very different to other body scrubs on the market, but definitely unique in a good way rather than in ... more

    Advantages Advantages Lovely smell, works

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

Sugar Sugar Soap and Glory is one of my favourite beauty ranges. I recently found myself with quite a lot of Boots Advantage points so I decided to treat myself to one of their products as some of their items can be a bit pricey. I had read a lot about the Soap and Glory Spa Sugar Crush so I decided to give that a try. Sugar Crush is basically a big tub of body exfoliator/scrub intended to remove any scaliness on your skin as the product itself says. Soap and Glory was created by Marcia Kilgore (who also created the Bliss range) back in 2006 so it hasn't been around for long but it sure has ... more

After being made to empty out my overflowing bathroom cuboard last week (how rude, cuboards are there to be filled :-p) this was one of the products that I was shocked to find hidden away. I have no idea why I forgot I had this, or why it was practically full so I thought best to give it another go. Soap & Glory always reminds me of a cheaper version of Benefit, with similar retro packaging and slogans. What first attracted me to this brand was that I had seen it appear on LOADS of TV shows such as How to Look Good Naked, and always got rated highly...then the fact it would look pretty on the ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells gorgeous, good scrub, big pot

Disadvantages Disadvantages Price, but worth it

Soap and Glory are a cheaper line from Marcia Kilgore, who is the head of yummy Bliss products. You can therefore pretty much expect the same great quality from this Boots line. I picked up Sugar Crush (love the name!) as I needed a body scrub and had heard good things about S&G. This is part of S&G’s “Spa” range and is based on smashed brown sugar, lime, almond oil and macadamia. All Soap and Glory products are exclusive to Boots. The scrub is normally £8.81 – far more than I would usually pay, but luckily Boots were running a 1/3 off promotion at the time. The scrub is in an attractive ... more
