Advantages: ATRAC software, easy to use Disadvantages: Feels a bit plasticky
...advertising on this one - Sony say that using the ATRAC software supplied with their new CD player range, you can fit up to 30 albums on one CD.
I'd looked at iPods and the various digital alternatives, but this option was both cheaper and more convenient. I buy CD's not MP3's, and I listen to bought albums and home burned CD's. The idea of being able to fit my whole music collection onto maybe 20 CD's, for less than £60 was very appealing.
The ... ...and is packaged with Sony's Sonicstage software for compressing and recording tracks onto a standard CD-R/RW. The software was easy to install (and is available for Windows (98/ME/XP) and very simple to use. You can set it up to record the whole CD or select certain songs, and there is a choice of compression rates. Advantages: An atrac 3 , Great sound, Nice Look Disadvantages: None
...asked my dad for a sony cd player, because i heard that sony is a very good company and the sound quality was great. So i wanted 1.
He said yes i could have one. So on the day of my 13th b-day (16 may) we went to the 'sony store' and saw SO MANY different types of Cd Players, some with mp3, some without, some with g-protection ETC. I told my dad that i wanted one with MP3, The salesman came and showed me this one he said that this isnt only MP3 ... ...He told me that it was a program that you get for the computer, You can collect songs from audio cd's mp3 files etc. and burn upto 400 songs on 1 CD!! I didnt believe him and didnt care. I still liked that one and it was a reasonable price; it was $130.99can (im in canada for those who dont know). We then bought it.
When i got home i tried it out. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!
It came with the CD Player, Basic Earphones, Manual, and the Atrac3plus software.
