Advantages: Good sound quality Disadvantages: Sensitive to movement
This is a great player with a lot of very convenient features. At the time of pruchasing it cost close to £100 at Dixons, but obviously, as newer models have since been released the price has dropped. Its only downfall is it is very sensitive to movement or being bumped. So if you don't ever move your player, or don't have kids who might jostle the player, it is perfect. I like to sue this cd player at work and as it it was rather lightweight it ... ...get the boxed product it has a sticker on it saying you can upgrade the software to access the radio - not true. The software on the disk won't install - and once you have found the site to download it, the offer is only for the US! Would I buy it again? Yes, it has lasted me over a year and ios still in brilliant condition, and I would reccomend it to anyone who wasn't planning on using it for parties, or around kids as movement affects the sound. ...

Advantages: Advanced sound quality Disadvantages: boring styling and look
The Sony CDP-XE270 was an 'impulse' purchase for me, i had went went out shopping with the intentions of buying a couple of cd's, but ended up buying a new CD player! When considering the purchase of this cd deck, i said to myself, "it plays cd's just like my old one, whats the point in shelling out £80 for something thats going to do the same as my £50 3year old cd deck ?". I was assured by the shop assistant that the reason i should purchase this ... ...out of this world" but being a skeptical (and poor!) shopper i asked for a demo. It was after listening to about 30 seconds of 50cent that i realised what he meant by "crystal clear"! The sond quality was very impressive! The controls and display are the player's only downfall, i personaly think that the small display and dull, black apperaence seriously hinder the attraction of this product.

this cd player is just your pretty bog standard cd player really, i could find the same sort of spec for around £30 in tesco or argos but it does have a music calender and cd-r playback cabability which is ok but most people are using mp3 players now so maybe that feature wont get used much. the sound quality was ok, and the 24 step program play feature is quite usufull but doesnt make it any more special, pretty basic design too, available in black ... ...im not sure what i would use on for i dont actually know what these are for oops.
not worth the money, go to tesco and buy the same spec for under £40. if you find it for this price then get it but other than that not worth it. ...
