I've had this camera for just under a year. I purchased it when it came on to the market for a high price. It's a beautiful camera, the look and feel of it is great. Getting a package deal will be a good idea and this will save you a lotin money from buying additional bits.( Occassionally stores come up with package deals keep your eyes open). I got this camera over a year ago, I think. It's pretty cool. I have the 3.2 mega-pixel one too. The only difference I've noticed is that you can have a better quality photograph. I tend not to use that size, though. It's like uber huge and a bit pointless, in my opinion. Plus, it takes up like twice as much memory. I bought this camera a couple of months ago (less than the retail price, I may add). I am so impressed with it, it is easier to use than my old Kodak Digital Camera and the menus are managed easier too. The optical and digital zoom features are outstanding.
