...carry around than my old Sony P200, as it was a bit chunky. The Smile Shutter function is the most exciting thing about the camera, coz it works...sometimes. It doesn't take a smiling picture from certain angles, so if you are not facing the camera and smile it won't take the picture. I.e. you have to face the camera properly and head not too far up OR down otherswise it won't take it either. And sometimes it reacts slower so it takes the picture ...

I had this camera bought for me when my last camera ceased to function-it is lightweight and fits easily into pockets/bags. I love the different colour options-particularly suiting the younger generation! It's a great all round camera with easy to use touch-screen;I still haven't needed to read the instruction leaflet it's that straight forward (and I am not technically gifted!). It is very stylish, very sleek with the shutter that pops down revealing the lens, and the black colour makes it a classic for both males and females, although the other colours look great as well. The Sony Cybershot has to be the best camera I've ever bought. It is an 8.1 mp camera , 3 x optical zoom and is available in silver and black. It can record video(with audio), with you controlling the quality and size of the video. The camera supports a timer, face detection, super steady shot and a 3.0 inch touch screen. It costs betweem £100-150 but is well worth the money. With the built in memory, you can record up to 3 minutes of low quality video and up to 20 -30 pictures. I bought an 8GB memory card and now it can record up to 1 hour and 40 minutes of high quality video and over 3000 images. It had a tripod mount at the bottom and a a rechargebale battery.
