I'm very interested in photography, and I recieved this camera as a Christmas present two years ago. It's obviously no SLR, but the pictures I've taken with it have come out very good. You can't zoom in very far with it, but that's not a problem to me because I don't use zoom very much. If you bring the lense too close to the subject, it becomes out of focus, but that is the case with all cameras that I've used. My pictures usually come out clear. This is a stylish 14.1 mega pixal camera (so good pictures) it is a manageable size its affordable and it can take a knock or two. If you are looking for a camera to fit many occasions that is easy to carry use and isn't going to age within a month this is it. No matter your age it will look good and is easy to use. The software to use to transfer to computers is also very easy to use. The cyber shot function means it rarely go's out of focus. Having had my fair share of camera's in the past, nothing came close to this one. Of course the big, expensive, professional cameras are also very good but I feel that they aren't very flattering for capturing pictures of me and my friends/family. Although I would say that those types of cameras are much better for photographs of scenery but I feel they are too big and expensive.
