...decided to go with a Sony as my bigger camera (DSLR A200W) proved to be a great buy. After quite a bit of shopping around I decided on the W270 although it's a little bit on the pricey side I figured it was worth it. Thankfully I wasn't wrong! Okay the first thing I noticed was the sleek design, it looks smart without too many complicating buttons to get to know. The screen is 2.7 inch LCD which is clear and bright (this setting can be changed so ... ...red eye or so on, I would download to my PC and then make the changes, but with the Sony you can do it directly on the camera itself, a very hand little feature. Advantages: So easy to use you don't even need the manual to start off taking pics Disadvantages: I forget to recharge the battery!
In my opinion this is a great easy to use, good quality camera. I bought it to keep with me when out with the kids. Its small enough to fit into the change bag or handbag (on the odd night out!) but big enough to be easy to use not too fiddly. Its a camera that anyone could pick up and use straight away without having spent ages reading the manual to be able to turn it on. I am definatey not the professional photographer but we are really pleased ... ...use it all the time and catch so many great moments which was exactly the reason I bought it. I mainly use it on the "easyŁ shot setting which is fully automatic and just requires me to press the button. It also has a facial recognition setting where is can recognise when you a shooting people and can see several people in the shot and focus on theem. The best feature by far for shooting withth e kids is the "smile" tech that means once on this setting ...
