found the camera a lightweight beauty for a journalist/videographer. should fit into the budget of a good home video enthusiast. Advantages: Really quick and easy to set up for use Disadvantages: Focus Ring has no stops on it.
...rear of the camera. Also Sony has included it's jog wheel for easy scrolling through the menus, which themselves are very clear and easy to understand.
I work in Television and find this camera being used more and more for quick use while still maintaining excellent quality. The extra quality that the PD150 has is its ability to record in DVCAM which is a more durable and higher quality format than miniDV. ...
