This unit is very stylish looking and small. The unit does not have a built in battery as such, it actually comes separately in the box and clips on neatly underneath but does add considerably to the thickness and weight of the unit. Dont worry though I was very happy to find that if you are using the car or mains adaptor you dont need the battery at all, only take it if you have no access to a mains power source. Disadvantages: No seat straps for in car use. No a deal breaker but would have been nice.

I received my Sony DVP-FX 720 as part of a special with my purchase of a Sony Bravia 40 inch television. Needless to say I was not expecting much.
