Advantages: Supports a number of formats, Affordable Disadvantages: Doesn't record
I purchased the Sony DVP-NS330 DVD player earlier this year and was, and still am very impressed. It’s a simplistic but effective player. I chose this player for a number of reasons including the Sony brand.
The player itself is compact and sleek, very attractive and slim-line. It is finished in metallic silver and has a fairly large display. The controls on the unit are organised very well. The player features a dial used for searching and can ...

Advantages: Good quality sound and picture, Slimline Appearance. Disadvantages: I need one for the kids now.
...good to be true... a Sony multi-region DVD player for so cheap! Well, that's what I intially thought anyway. Serves me right for not trusting amazon.co.uk.
Delivered for free and just in time for Christmas usage, the DVP-NS330 is probably one of the best beginner DVD players your hard earned cash could be spent on at the moment. Although a friend of mine who bough the same model had some trouble when her four year old TV was playing some of her ...

...a single movie.
I contacted Sony about the issue, and their response was that since it was "SO FAR" beyond their warranty period (apparently 8 months is SO FAR beyond a reasonable life expectency for their lousy product) that there was nothing they could do. They were also uninterested in the additional complaints I cited on this and other consumer review sites ...

Advantages: Excellent quality, looks good/ modern, can play most formats Disadvantages: Cannot play PAL in colour eg some extreme sports DVD's or old movies
...also connect it to a Sony stack which would be like your hi-fi or something if you don't have a Sony hi-fi.
It is a scart unit also which is good because you do not have to tune it in or anything. (Make sure your TV or other appliance has an AV scart socket, most modern equipment does so you shouldn't have to worry)
There is no set up needed, just plug in and your away, the remote even comes with Sony batteries... you cant ask for much more than ...

...internet, i came across the Sony DVP-NS330, it'smain attraction being the price tag at only £78.99. Personally I prefere most Sony products and in this case you do have to be prepared to pay a little over the average price for this type of dvd player, but you get the comfort that Sony are a reliable company and you likely to get a quality, value for money product. I think this item fits that catergory, not only does it play brilliant picture quality, ...

This was the first DVD player i ever owned because before that i did not think that it was worth upgrading from my video player but i can tell you that the extra features and picture quality are well worth it.On this particular DVD player you can not only use the standard DVDS but you can play CDs and DVDs that have been recorded(However you cannot record on this particular model). The one main difference between video and dvd is the picture and sound ...

...of it.
I chose the brand SONY - becuase of its superior name in the electronics market place.
I previously owned a Pioneer - which although lasted a little while, did not last as long as I expected it to! Considering I have had my TV and video player for over 7 years - I expected a DVD player to last at least half that time - which it didn't!
So far - I am very happy with the DVD player. It has a expensive look to it - depsite the low price. ...

What can i say about this DVD player, well nothing thats not been said already, before i got this player i was using my PS2 to play DVD's however, i imported a R1 DVD 'Seabiscuit', and needed to splash out on a player with multi-region capabilities to play it on.
I did lots of research before making my choice, and i was certainly not disappointed! 5 minutes after it arrived and i was watching my R1 DVD brilliant.
I was not expecting to notice ...
