    5 Stars The Sony CD Player That Still Shines! Review with images 02/05/2012

    Advantages Advantages Basic features with a few surprises; easy to control, easy to use, excellent sound quality.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Only a few bass levels adjustable, no sound settings, product availability.

    Seven years ago I made the mistake of buying a Goodmans personal CD player. I should have trusted my instincts because it lasted a year and a couple of weeks and there was no way of taking it back to Argos when it only had a one year guarantee on it and the receipt got lost. Perhaps then I knew that I wouldn't want the same replacement again! What I was looking for was the simplicity of a personal CD player that had at least a bass boost function and a Jog control which wouldn’t allow CD’s to jump or skip if there was the slightest knock.     Advantages Advantages Durable! Very easy to use, fantastic battery life, good sound quality

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Its not a mini-disc/i-pod/mp3 player!

    The Sony D-EJ615 is fantastic value for money. It is a CD Walkman that comes with 'Jog-proof' protection and I have had it since I was 14. I purchased it from Argos for about £80/90, and although this may seem a lot to fork out when you can get CD players for as cheap as £15 in certain stores, it has lasted me for about 4 years, and is still fully functional. The general design is what attracted me to this particular item; it is black with silver buttons, and since Sony made it I thought it would be a safe investment. I was right.
