Advantages: Compact fully featured phone Disadvantages: Email still impractical, Games suck the battery dry
I've had this phone a couple of weeks now, and feel comfortable enough with it to break it down for you all.
I paid £20 for an upgrade to this phone on my existing 200minute O2 Contract.
Camera
-----------
This is the item that most people will be considering the phone for- finally a camera that can produce half decent pictures built into a phone?
Indeed- the quality of the 2mp shots are quite superb. I've taken pictures in varying lighting ... ...and have been very pleased with the results. Firstly, I'd say the sliding cover is a lifesaver for the picture quality. Anyone with a phone like my old Nokia 6230 will know that a pocket phone can easily acquire scratches on an unprotected lense. The cover also serves the dual function of turning on the camera, which is great. The camera suffers from the typical problem of small lense auto-focus type cameras in that it is not always clear what in ...

Advantages: lots of features Disadvantages: joystick is rubbish, a bit slow...chunky?
...just looks like your regular sony ericsson phone..They haven't done much to their T610 it seems. It's black but that's about it. (If you get a phone from vodafone now its black and silver, almost identical to the t610). Look at it from the back..and it looks like a camera! But unfortunately, the back looks a bit tacky and plasticky and the slider that covers the lens of the camera is a bit flimsy. It's also heavier than other phones I've had or played ... ...updates are available from the sony ericsson website and they should fix these problems soon. I updated mine about a week ago and it doesn't crash as much and it has speeded up a tiny bit.
The joystick that is central to your menu navigation is very poor. It works well initially and then starts to deteriorate rapidly. Within a 2 months, my joystick started to feel flimsy and some movements are not detected.
the phone reception is not as good as ...

...it.
I previously had the Sony Ericsson T610 (I wrote a review on it) but unfortunately that decided to give up life a few weeks ago, it was a tough decision, Sony Ericsson K750 or Samsung D500, I finally settled for the Sony Ericsson K750 due to it's superior features and design.
What's in the box?
I decided to purchase my K750 Sim-Free, so I didn't get any simcard with it, however this means that there's no company branding, ie. Vodafone logo, ... ...there was the following:

Battery
Manual
Charger
Headphones/Hands free kit
64mb Memory Stick Duo card
Memory Stick Duo to Memory Stick adapter
CD-Rom with software
USB Data-cable
Warranty booklet
This is all presented in a sturdy box with the usual Sony Ericsson style, green sides with a picture of the phone, etc.
The phone itself...
I chose this phone because of the wide range of features it offers, for a start it ...

Advantages: Good looks, large screen, gorgeous (improved) camera Disadvantages: Sony? Sort out the battery life!! And you've STILL that same joy(less)stick!
Sony Ericsson K750
Having had a K700i and going from loving it at the start to intensely disliking it after about 4 months, I decided against a Sont Ericsson for my upgrade. However, the adverts for it looked good, and I wondered whether the vastly improved camera would sway me back to the fold. It's didn't. I'll now talk about this phone using the same subheadings I choose to pick from the air.

...and mainly (so im told) sony ericsson could not produce enough of these phones to surfice the demands.
However now i have this phone i realise it was worth the wait. Being a technically minded person i like to have lots of gadgets and this phone seemed like the next step. My previous phone nokia 6230 was a good phone, but the connectivity between my computer and the 6230 was not all theat great at the best of times using bluetooth.
However sony ... ...on the internet for them. Sony also provide all the software that you require.
Once everything was installed all you have to do is name your phone and sim card and then your off.
I find it easier to used windows explorer to navigate around my phone and then just drap and drop pictures, music or videos to or from my phone. the whole process depending on size takes a minute and that about it. Easy as pie!!! You can also synchronise your contacts ...

Advantages: Sleek Modern Mobile with 2MP Camera Disadvantages: The little things that bug you.
...and sleek look that most Sony ericssons have, when i read the spec i was sure this phone was for me. The 2 Megapixel camera was the selling point but included on the phone you have: Bluetooth technology, digital zoom, email, FM Radio, GPRS, infrared connection, Java, MP3 player, Photo Messaging, polyphonic ring tones, tri band technology, Video Messaging and wap.
As mentioned the main selling point for me was the 2 Mega pixel camera. This is one ... ...a play around with one. You'll be suprised with what you get for your money. ...my Samsung D500 for a Sony Ericsson K750i. Well I actaully sold my D500 on eBay for £255 and bought the K750i for £190, and what can I say, it is possibly the best bit of business that I have ever done! The K750i is so superior to the D500 in every single aspect, so much so that it's hard to believe. The only area that the D500 comes anywhere near is looks, and for me the K750i shades that too - I've got the half silver, half black Vodafone version ... ...yet, despite never owning a Sony Ericsson before.
The memory is very good, 32mb internal and a Sony Memory stick of 64mb comes as standard, this can be expanded up to an immense 2gb, which would allow it to practically replace an iPod with it's storage capacity!
Quite simply there is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this phone, it has exceeded my expectation in absolutely every single way! ...

Advantages: Has everything and more a you might want froma mobile phone. Disadvantages: Non changeable covers...but hey its not the end of the world.
...should DEFINATELY consider this.
Sony Duo Removable memory cards up to 2GB mean you will never run out of space for pictures and Videos, contacts, or MP3s (a free headset and radio function comes with the phone). Who needs an I-pod?? More importantly the phone is robust (ive been known to drop it on occasion to no detrimental effect), and performs all basic tasks to a very high standard.
The phone has both bluetooth and infra-red compatibility ... ...or PC).
The only thing this phone lacks (in my oppinion) is video calling capabilities. That never really bothered me but if its a must for you check out the Nokia alternatives.
The phone charges in 4 hours from flat using the normal charger, however you can also charge it using your USB cable and PC/Laptop. I wouldnt recommend this though as it can take well over 12 hours.
This phone may be a little too 'much' for those just wanting a phone, ...

Advantages: 2 Megapixel Camera Phone Disadvantages: Sometimes will Crash while sending via bluetooth and of course the battery life
This is without a doubt the best mobile phone i have owned, and believe me i have had a few. It has all the capabilities of what you would expect from a mobile phone, with 32MB phone memory and a memory card that fits into the side of the phone which can be up to 1GB. By default you will normally get a 64MB memory card (these cards can also be used on many new style PC Printers). The Data cable is handy for editing your pics which also comes with ... ...There is FM radio when your on the move along with enough memory space to fit a good amount of songs but depends on how much memory you have.
The main reason i bought this phone is because of the 2mp camera, which is not great compared to stand alone digital cameras, but i have taken some very good pics also with special effects built into the phone and a little light flash for the night. The joystick is very sensitive and ok once you get use to ...

Advantages: 2 in 1(camera and phone) lightweight, good screen res, functions Disadvantages: camera shutter slides open when in pocket
This is the latest of my many phones.
I chose this phone because of its ability to be a camera when it needs to be, then a phone, then a music player, Its a multi purpose device!

I've been using this product for almost 2 years and I'm very fond of it... It's a bit fragile but still the phone is very useful and the performance level is high... The k750i sony ericsson is a wonderful phone with so many features like the 2.0 mega pixel camera with a slide cover to protect the lenses.
