...decided on this fab new Sony Ericsson W595 "Walkman" phone, as it seemed to have the most features for the price. My very first mobile phone (in 1997) was an Ericsson GA628, and it was a great phone, surviving much dropping and several dunkings in coffee and one one notable occasion, a pint of orange squash. So I had high hopes for this one. I don't think I'll be spoiling the review much if I tell you I'm not disappointed at all so far.

All in all I still satisfied with the phone overall, but I think the camera would have to be improved for future models before I was to gain the same brand loyalty to Sony as I had to Motorola previously. ...

Style: I adore and enjoy the new and shiny look of my all new w595 with its smooth slide. I also think its great that the screen on this phone is bright as well as large great for playing your favorite games as well as watching your favorite video clips... Its not bulky or heavy its nice and slim and easy to pop in and out of your pocket for everyday usage... I upgraded to this phone in April and these are my thoughts on it.
Firstly it looks great. I have it in black and its the best looking phone i have seen for a while.
The quality of the pictures are excellent, its easy to make and transfer videos. The motion sensor also auto-rotates between portrait and landscape viewing of photos.
There is no auto focus or flash which is ideally desirable.
Texting is simple, any contacts ... ...when you press send to avoid you having to search through your contacts list.
The Walkman feature is excellent it has a "shake" feature to enable you to change tracks. Also has an FM Radio which is fine if you can keep a good reception, not ideal on the move. I find it a great music phone. You can create and manage playlists, shuffle songs, equalise, etc, and album art can be displayed when music is playing. The sound quality is excellent, either ...

I've been using this phone for more than 1 year, changed to it from my old Motorola L6. Just wanted a phone that can play mp3 and this phone really suited my needs. With a normal phone dimention, quite thin actually, this phone can fit easily into the pocket and I do not feel uncomfortable with it. My brother has a Nokia N7 but he rarely put it inside his pocket because it's very thick. The phone has a 480 x 320 display LCD that produces really good ... ...under bright sun (have to use my hands to cover the screen so that I can see). The slide design is really cool and te buttons under the screen allows really fast access to music player, changing songs, volume. There is not different between this handphone and a mp3 player.
The battery is not bad. I usually charge it every 2 days since I use as mp3 player quite often, but for normal use only, i think it will beable to last for at most 1 week.

As far as phones go, this one is particularly easy to use. the menu fuctions are simple and self explanatory, yet stylish and smooth.

In my opinun this phone is nice and relible, its slim and looks really good and is small so it looks very modern, the music qaulity is very good and it holds a lot of songs and comes with earphones which are comfatble but if you dont like them it comes with a connecter cable which you plug any earphones into yet it steal goes into the phone.
