Advantages: A phone and MP3 player Disadvantages: Bad battery life if using MP3 player
...the fuss is about over Sony Ericsson Walkman phones.
-The Box-
This mobile box is unlike the others, as instead of the normal plain cardboard box this is a plastic slim box with an orange lid bearing the Walkman symbol. It measures just over 23-cm tall and13 cm wide. When you open the lid you must be careful as you slide the cardboard around the phone out and see just what you have got! The box displays clearly all the main features of the phone, ...

...the top of the range Sony Ericsson W800i, a phone that's also a 2MP camera and a walkman. The reason he actually ended up with this particular model, is that he decided to finally take the plunge and get a contract phone instead of PAYG, and this was available for free with the contract he chose.
---The Styling---
The W800i is one modern looking phone, being mainly pearl-white in colour with orange highlighting. This doesn't sound a very nice ...

Advantages: a wealth of facilities Disadvantages: none as yet
I have the W800i in black, and it\'s one of the best buys i have had, despite a couple of initial hiccups. The phone\'s features (and it has quite a few) are as follows:
1. Walkman- displays what track is now playing, what artists you have on file; the tracks, playlists and videos. The display facilities are great, simply because it enables you to flit from one track to the next. The artists are listed alphabetically (for those of us who like things ...

Advantages: Great Camera, nice basic MP3 player, decent battery life Disadvantages: Very glitchy, buttons too small, poor build quality
Let's just put this on the table - this is not the first review of the W800i so is not going to tell you about a hidden feature that no ones discovered But.. it's going to be honest and straight down the line which is what you want to and need to hear before thinking about buying this little peice of apricot pie.
I've had my w800i for almost a year and given it a full workout now so I feel like I've bonded and can be objective in my review. Is ...

...phones since then but, the Sony Ericsson W800i is my favourite, so far.
If you're like me and a texter then this phone is brilliant it has predictive text which brings up a list of words and even puts your most used at the top of that list making texting really quick. You can store around 150(ish) in your inbox/sent boxes and you can chose which you want to delete when the memory is full, if like me you save the ones telling you how fab your are!! ...

Advantages: Listen to music without headphones attatched. Easy to navigate. Easy to text. Disadvantages: Phone speaker can be quiet. Joystick is easily broken/jammed.
...4 months after owning another Sony Ericsson W800i for about a year. I swapped it for this new one because the screen had began to get dimmer and dimmer on it and also the joy stick would not let me move left at all.
I have also found this problem on this new Sony Ericsson after just 4 months. The joystick has started to jam due to leaving it in my pocket for most of the day. The menu system is easy to use providing your joystick works! The menu ...

Advantages: Small, easy to use, light Disadvantages: Battery can seem short after using other SE phones
I've stuck with Sony Ericsson phones now for a while due to their reliability, good battery life and ease of use and all in all the W800i is no exception.
The phone is sleek, good looking, lightweight and compact although the keys are not always as user friendly as I'd like.
Features:
Ringtones A few polyphonic are included and there is also a sample of real music tunes already installed on the phone. They are not full tracks though.

Sony Ericsson W800I
Yep, it's another phone review. I got given this at work and even though this model is way older than my Samsung Z400, I was just hoping the battery life on this phone is much better than that.
As this is a discontinued phone not many places still stock it and the only place that you might find it is Ebay or another auction sites.

...what extras you can get.
The Sony Ericsson W800i is an excellent phone, its really easy to use and pretty much self explanitory.
The best feature for me is the camera it has an excellent quality even when your out in dark places like night clubs and stuff the pictures still come out good, the flash light is extreamly bright which does tend to leave little blobs floating around in your eyes for a minute or so but at least the pictures turn out ...

...not that expensive. With a sony memory stick adaptor which you can use with most new multimedia laptop all in one card readers, to quickly transfer data, I believe this is quicker than a USB too. Now the cheapest iPod Nano 2 Gb is about £130, you can get this phone free on a twelve month contract and could buy a SanDisk 2Gb card for £60, consider that this phone is not that much bigger than an iPod Nano in length and breadth and is maybe three times ...

Well, what can i say, I love this phone. I work in a mobile phone shop, so i was excited when this phone was launched last summer as the Walkman branding means that operators cant put their own software on the phone. This means that there aren't any issues with faulty software on this phone. WIll it fit in my handbag? How does it look?
The phone is a good size, small enough to stick in your pocket on a night out, so girls, you dont have to take ...
