…Da Music…
Of course, this phone has an MP3 player and many other gadgets to do with music. Like every Walkman phone, it has a dedicated button to flick to the MP3 player whenever you like.
On this phone, it's an orange button on the left-hand slide. Just press that and the music player will just appear from nowhere. There's no limit to how many songs you can add to the playlist unlike ...

It's a sony! Review ofSony Ericsson W880i Walkmanby

Advantages: slim, good music player Disadvantages: tiny buttons, average camera
I've always loved Sony Ericsson (henceforth referred to as SE) phones, as they have great features and are usually pretty reliable. One thing that's often let them down though is that they just ain't that pretty. Well, SE have finally woken up and begun to deal with this problem. The w880i is a lovely looking phone, with its brushed stainless steel silver front (or black if you prefer), and its matt black plastic back (say that ten times fast!) (Oh, ...

...becoming a long line of Sony Ericsson phones. Mr Sony Ericson the 1st was my W800i and we had a ball together, I pushed his buttons he vibrated in my pocket we got along great, until tragedy (puts hands up starts dancing remembers who sang it and stops) struck and Mr S E went diving in the PIQ’s sink. He kind of teetered on the edge of working; his back light slowly fading to nothing, but then the condensation set in and he was a goner, all I thought ...

...I decided to get the Sony Ericsson W880i.
It is only 9.4mm in thickness so fits easily into my small handbag without taking up much room and only weighs 71grams.
It has a stainless steal coating that makes it look very stylish.
It comes in two colours black and orange, black at the front and orange on the back, or silver and black, black at the back and silver at the front, this is the one I have.
To look at the phone head on you have ...

SONY PHONES
I rate Sony Ericsson phones at the top of the pile of the decent makes. They always have excellent build quality and the menus are functional and easy to use. I have progressed through the current range as and when they have come out. So it was with joy that I received one of the new W880i phones

I clicked on normal mode and I was away listening to music, texting and ringing friends from the all new slim and shiny w880i model handset. I also got brand new headphones and manuals to help me and the software disc and USB lead, charger and I also got a free set of speakers to play my music at home.

...the somewhat brick like early Sony Ericsson phones they have proved far superior to the majority of other brands. There is something about them that is fresh and dynamic; they are a little more cutting edge perhaps without being overcomplicated. This particular model, the w880i is great, with an abundance of features and a nice sleek design it's easy to use and even easier to conceal.
I won't bore you to death with the millions of features it ...

...help compensate the pathetic camera, Sony give you a good music player. The sound is of high quality. You can listen with your headphones or with the external speaker. The player is nice and easy to get around and you'll have no trouble sorting play lists out and so on. Transferring music is simple, a little slow but simple. Just install the software and away you go. You get a few EQ settings, very important for adjusting to different styles of music ...

Advantages: Slim, Small, mp3 Player, 3G, Very Stylish Disadvantages: Small Buttons, Speakers, Problematic Battery?
This is the first Sony Ericsson phone I have owned and being so used to the Nokia layouts, menus and functions I was worried that I will need to spend hours learning the shortcuts, menus, functions and what have you. However, I needn't have worried. The W880i is just as easy to use as the Nokias. The menus are easy to navigate and the functions are pretty much the same as any other phone.
So saying that, why is this W880i such a great phone? Well ...

I'll try and not waffle on too much about the exact spec of the phone, you can find that elsewhere. But I'll tell you from a users point of view what is good, and what really isn't.

...didn't think so. So what sony have done is put some sort of intelligent sensor which adjust the right amount of light to the camera to provide a better quality picture. That said pictures taken on a sunny day always look better than in dull days or indoors, but tell me a cameraphone that is like that.

Well, what can i say about this stylish phone?
Firstly, an overall good fone, reliable, good reception and due to its small sleak design, i have come to find it is also quite a hard wearing phone (as i have dropped mine a few times and it still works perfectly) i am also happy with the "rubber" back on the phone as i feel this helps with the durabilty of the phone, as the phone does look so fragile it suprisingly is not!
