Diamond review   The return of the Walkman
Review of Sony Ericsson W900i by rickyshah

Advantages: Feature set is huuuge
Disadvantages: Its big, bad and heavy.

I bought this phone as an upgrade around 4-5 months ago, and have to say that despite its weight and iPod-aping white colour scheme it is one of the best phones I have used. I guess the question is, what does it do that's so great? APPEARANCE (vanity vanity vanity) Like I mentioned, the phone is iPod-white, which may or may not be to everyone's taste. It is dominated by a large and crisp (252 thousand colours I'm reliably told) screen, which ... Read review

Portable porn in my pocket
Review of Sony Ericsson W900i by kappaslappa

Advantages: It does everything except wash-up!
Disadvantages: It does weigh a fair bit for a phone

...I have opted for the Sony Ericsson W900 (i) 3G-enabled mobile phone, which is one of the latest phones available. To look at the W900 (i) is stylish and fun but at the same time it is a mobile phone with many capabilities. For the time being this phone is only available in white in the UK whereas black is the dominant colour in other countries, but I have to say the white is a strikingly clean white colour with the name 'Sony Ericsson' written ... Disappointed to say the least
Review of Sony Ericsson W900i by ClubLife

Advantages: Sleek, modern appearance.
Disadvantages: 2 megapixel camera; No flash; Laggy functions; Poor quality editing software.

...and I thought going with Sony Ericsson, again, would be a sure bet, after all, my old W800 was a lovely phone, surely this would top it? Unfortunately I thought wrong. First impressions of this phone are, it's a tester. The new 'flip' technology is extremely laggy, and that's if it works at all, it's tempremental to say the least. Granted, the walkman feature has been updated, but the new 'shake to shuffle' feature is more of a 'rattle as hard ... Read review

Review of Sony Ericsson W900i by martin0201

Advantages: Good looking, easy to use, Sturdy
Disadvantages: Poor camera

...have a play with the Sony Ericsson W910i, in a beautiful ruby red colour. When opening the box I was faced with no excess packaging - always a god send in the green-conscious age! There were two things in the box - a smaller box which contained the manual, charger, USB cable and headphones - and a bit of plastic which contained the phone and a USB dongle (which the memory card can be slotted into - an ingenious little gadget!) The Phone It ... Read review

My Favourite Phone Ever (W900i)
Review of Sony Ericsson W900i by Chris-C_2006

Advantages: Huge List Of Features, Huge Memory, Music Orientated
Disadvantages: Short Battery Life, Quite Big, Loose Connection Port

Sony Ericsson W900i Introduction The Sony Ericsson W900i is one of the top end phones in today's market. It was released the 12th of December 2005 on the Vodafone network, but has mostly been available as a contract phone since then. The average price for a W900i can range from about £300 to £500 brand new, although the price will start to decrease soon as many competitor companies are releasing phones that finally challenge it. I personally ... Read review

Overall Good Phone
Review of Sony Ericsson W900i by nollie99

Advantages: Very Stylish, Innovative Shake Music Control, Good Range of features
Disadvantages: Camera Quality Average, Battery Life could be Better, No Built In Headphone Jack

I've owned the W910i Sony Ericsson Walkman phone (Havana Gold) for nearly a month. It is a very impressive phone, with all the standard requirements for a modern phone built in, with some interesting features and a few flaws. In the Box - W910i SE Walkman Mobile Phone UK Socket Charger USB Cable In-Earphone w/ handsfree wire Quickstart Guide + Manual Sony Ericsson Software Suite Sony Card reader 1GB M2 card (May vary with supplier) At ... Sony Eric-ssound, walking away with a winner!
Review of Sony Ericsson W900i by lisacallow

Advantages: Stylish and easy to navigate, swivel action!
Disadvantages: Deceptively large in length and some may find it bulky

...evolution in mobile phone technology, Sony seem to be racing ahead in terms of quality, durability and overall aesthetics of their range. The new W900i is no exception to the rule. Sony seem to have advanced very quickly since the introduction of their debut Walkman phone the W800i which was traditionally shaped, but with the integration of a high spec CMOS camera, and advanced mp3 quality download and playback capabilities. It seems that Sony ... Read review

Sleek, sexy, soft
Review of Sony Ericsson W900i by iamasadlittleboy

Advantages: Looks amazing, gorgeous screen
Disadvantages: Is softer than Herbie Hide's chin

...which makes me feel that sony have gone backwards some what with the phone. Theres no real technological advances, in the phone it's self. Sure it looks nice, shiny and sexy just like any new phone should, but it fails to meet upto the build standard I've come to expect of Sony, I will be looking into getting it fixed as it is a decent phone, just not worth the £300+ that's being asked for it. For a similar price your probably able to pick up the ... Read review

The BEST phone I've ever owned
Review of Sony Ericsson W900i by MarianneLasenby

Advantages: Combines your Watch, MP3 player, Camera, Camcorder and... Takes over your life!
Disadvantages: A little on the chunky side

...think that this is where Sony Ericsson really shine, with the neatness of their menus in comparison to Nokia and Samsung etc. The menu has barely extended the T610 (my last phone) menu, except to add 3 extra options, which is fine because the screen is larger so it accommodates them easily. Now the camera REALLY IS something else, with it's two megapixelly goodness, fantastic digital zoom, flash, contrast control, and the crazy range of frames ... Read review

Swivel on it
Review of Sony Ericsson W900i by cwb1

Advantages: Big screen, big internal memory, menu system and 30 fps video cam
Disadvantages: Too big, too swivelly, too heavy, keypad lock mechanism very poor

...of the Walkman series by Sony Ericsson, and is a combination of the memory and features of the W800i and the design of the W550i. This is Sony Ericsson's first UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) handset to be added to their Walkman range of phones. The attraction of this phone has got to be its music-oriented image: Sony have used their expertise as a portable music specialist to good effect on this device, and given us a fairly ... Very versatile and stylish phone
Review of Sony Ericsson W900i by dmk1

Advantages: Does everything you want from a phone
Disadvantages: Slightly larger than average

The W900i is impressive to look at, a well styled phone. The menu system is intuitive and it is very easy to use all features of the phone without needing to refer to the user manual. The screen is large, high resolution (for a mobile), bright and clear. Downloading and watching films is a pleasant experience. The Walkman player is simple to use and the supplied software makes it very easy to and your own music to the phone, converting CDs to ... Read review

Review of Sony Ericsson W900i by dandydon1983

Disadvantages: headphone connection, weak bluetooth, cant put it in trouser pocket

...all the same as every sony ericsson ive ever had. I was a bit disappointed that the memory card was the m2 but a usb card reader was also included which was good. A few added extras compared to the 850I are on the media player (senseme & shaker) waste of time in my opinion somthing i'll never use but faster internet is somthing which will be used.
