Advantages Advantages Good price, good for music, great range of features

Disadvantages Disadvantages No Flash means limited use of camera

I thought it was fitting to finally get around to reviewing my mobile phone now. With something like this, I think you need to have spent a while using it, before you can review it properly. I got the phone on September 12th last year, as an upgrade to my previous Sony Ericsson W850i. I have now actually managed to lose it. When it comes to picking a phone, I always have a certain criteria, which vary depending on what I need at the time. Back then, my main priority was music. It was before I got my iPod, and I didn’t have anything else as an mp3 player. I had been so impressed with my W850i’s ... more

Advantages Advantages Walkman, stylish, number of features, easy to use etc.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Mediocre camera, battery is somewhat weak

My Experience To put it simply, the Sony Ericsson 3G W910i is a really nice phone. From what I hear, since its release, it's been quite a 'trendy' phone, particularly amongst students and the younger generation. It looks great, it's got some nice, modern features and is a really effective music player. Before I bought the W910i, I had another Sony Ericsson Walkman model - its predecessor, the W810i. I've found it to be a step-up. Neither a complete "revolution", nor an unnoticeable change. It upgrades and updates all the 810i's features into a neat package. Looks I think the best feature about ... more

Advantages Advantages Looks great, sounds great, nice features!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Average camera, reported technical issues!

Having recently been eligible for a free phone upgrade through my network provider, I opted for the Sony Ericsson W910i walkman mobile phone. I have owned several Sony Ericsson phones over the past few years, and have become quite a big fan of their phones. My tariff is reasonably low, so I wasn't eligible for a top of the range model without having to pay something towards it, so the W910i seemed the better choice of an average range of free phones I was offered. For pure looks, the W910i is a joy to look at, and in my opinion is up there with the best of them. The W910i is a slide phone, and ... more

Advantages Advantages Clear picture quality, looks very stylish, crystal clear screen

Disadvantages Disadvantages Number keys can sometimes "stick", trouble turning it on at times

Please read the update at the bottom of this review, written on 26.12.08 after having the product roughly 6 months. CHOOSING THE PHONE & IN THE BOX The time came to buy a new phone and after deciding on going with a Vodafone contract, I needed a phone to go with it. After searching through loads of new models, I settled on the Sony Ericsson W910i in Havanna Gold. I chose the gold model because it's more unique - I do really like the other colours, but Havanna Gold has a nice sophisticated edge to it. I ordered the phone from Vodafone and it came the next day. In the box was a connection USB ... more

Advantages Advantages Really good features and walkman

Disadvantages Disadvantages Turns itself off all the time

I previously had the W810i model which I loved and so when this upgrade came out I thought I would go for it. It doesn't really do anything that different from the previous version but just has a new look mainly. It is a slider phone so you slide the screen up to expose the buttons. This is a good feature as it means that you do not accidentally call people when it's in your pocket. You can set the phone so that when you receive a call you just slide it up and it answers automatically or you can choose to press the call button to receive the call if you prefer. The speaker is very clear and ... more

Advantages Advantages Screen is a decent size, came with 1GB memory card

Disadvantages Disadvantages Buttons can prove a little frustrating at times

Having needing to get a new phone, I did a bit of research into what products Sony Ericsson have out on O2 at the moment. I narrowed it down to the W380i and the W910i and (after much deliberation) settled with the W910i. My first impressions was that the handset was very light compared to my old K700i. It's width (50 mm) and height (99.5 mm) are larger, but as the thickness is less (12.5 mm), it doesn't feel that much bigger in my pocket. A great advantage of the W910i being a little wider is that it comes with a 2.5" screen which is great for viewing your snaps taken with the 2 MP camera ... more

Features: I had been using the phone for one whole day and noticed that it has some good quality features here is a list of what I found: 3G HSPDA Technology Quad Band Technology Walkman Music Player Shake Control 2.4" Screen 2 MP Camera with 2.5x Zoom I was glad that it had the walkman player and the shake control I found that great when I was on my way to work etc. I loved that the phone has a big screen so you can read your texts clearly and browse the internet and get clear images of the site your browsing. The camera when using it looks much better than a 2MP I reckon it might be 3.2MP ... more

Advantages Advantages The Walkman. The beauty of the phone

Disadvantages Disadvantages The 2 Megapixel camera. Freezes most of the time

I decided to buy the black version of this phone almost a year ago from Argos and I have been using it ever since. I do not know why I am still using it because it is the most annoying phone that I have brought in my life! The things that attracted me to the phone in the first place was obviously the fact that it is a nice very beautiful and sleek looking phone with the feature that I always have to have in a phone which is a quality music player which in this phone's case is the Walkman. I also got a free nice looking speaker with it too. All for the price of £149.95 locked on the T-Mobile ... more

Advantages Advantages Light, Great Battery, Compact, Feature Packed, Versatile

Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor Memory Supplied, Key lock can come off!

Having already had a Sony Ericsson walkman phone prior to getting this one I was hoping for some major advancements in terms of technology and i have not been proven wrong. The last model i had was the 810i which in itself was a fantastic phone. The W910i is compact and light with most functions accessible without opening up the key pad. The battery life is great even when using it for games or when using the walkman feature, this is much better then the 810i which when using the walkman feature drained the battery very quickly. Even if you are a very heavy user the carge time is minimal and ... more

Advantages Advantages You get every possible functionality

Disadvantages Disadvantages Keypads are stiff in start

This is another walkman phone from SE, this time in a slider. As advertised, the sound system is impressive. Music played on the phone is clear and really good. Even playing through the speaker on the phone, it comes out loud and clear. The earphones are also designed to give users the best experience in enjoying their music. However, that is perhaps the only way the phone impresses. For those of you who are looking for a variety of functions and value-added features, you will be disappointed in this phone. This music phone is one of those who only has the basic functions for the mainstream ... more
