Advantages: Good price, good for music, great range of features
Disadvantages: No Flash means limited use of camera

...an upgrade to my previous Sony Ericsson W850i. I have now actually managed to lose it. When it comes to picking a phone, I always have a certain criteria, which vary depending on what I need at the time. Back then, my main priority was music. It was before I got my iPod, and I didn’t have anything else as an mp3 player. I had been so impressed with my W850i’s music capabilities, that I knew I wanted another Sony Ericsson. The next priority, was of ...
...The Music Player == Sony Ericsson walkman phones, ie all those in the ‘W’ series, all have a rather decent mp3 player. Getting my phone through Orange, meant that I got a free 1Gb memory card with it, which was great for holding music. It takes a tiny little card, a Memory Stick Micro memory card. With my phone, it came with a USB adaptor, which means that loading the card is simple. Using the music player is very easy, the press of a button on the ...

To shake or not to shake? That is the question

Advantages: Walkman, stylish, number of features, easy to use etc.
Disadvantages: Mediocre camera, battery is somewhat weak

...To put it simply, the Sony Ericsson 3G W910i is a really nice phone. From what I hear, since its release, it's been quite a 'trendy' phone, particularly amongst students and the younger generation. It looks great, it's got some nice, modern features and is a really effective music player. Before I bought the W910i, I had another Sony Ericsson Walkman model - its predecessor, the W810i. I've found it to be a step-up. Neither a complete "revolution", ...
...Also there are the standard Sony Ericsson call/end keys, a customizable 'short-cut' key (which I find particularly useful) and a delete key. Being a Walkman phone, there are also several specific Walkman music buttons, which I'll talk more about later. '''Features''' Walkman: Music is the focal piece of this phone; it's main selling point. Specifically, the phone has: flight mode; SensMe, which allows you to create and customise playlists; PlayNow, ...

Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman Mobile Phone

Advantages: Looks great, sounds great, nice features!
Disadvantages: Average camera, reported technical issues!

...provider, I opted for the Sony Ericsson W910i walkman mobile phone. I have owned several Sony Ericsson phones over the past few years, and have become quite a big fan of their phones. My tariff is reasonably low, so I wasn't eligible for a top of the range model without having to pay something towards it, so the W910i seemed the better choice of an average range of free phones I was offered. For pure looks, the W910i is a joy to look at, and in ...
...joystick control on my previous Sony Ericsson phone. The call answer & cancel buttons are also displayed on the face, and the walkman controls are smartly placed both on the front and on the side on the phone, making use of the walkman extremely easy. The phone slides smoothly and elegantly with a puch of a thumb, to uncover the number pad, that has large, well spaced keys. The phone has a large, bright, 240 x 320 pixel, high-resolution display, ...

...models, I settled on the Sony Ericsson W910i in Havanna Gold. I chose the gold model because it's more unique - I do really like the other colours, but Havanna Gold has a nice sophisticated edge to it. I ordered the phone from Vodafone and it came the next day. In the box was a connection USB lead, memory stick, battery, instructions, sim, charger and the phone itself. Getting the sim card into the phone was probably the hardest part! Taking the ...

It's not complicated at all when you get using it. *Entertainment: broken into "My Games", "Mobile TV", "Track ID", "Radio", "Video DJ", "Music DJ," "Photo DJ". I should ...

Off and on!!!

Advantages: Really good features and walkman
Disadvantages: Turns itself off all the time

I previously had the W810i model which I loved and so when this upgrade came out I thought I would go for it. It doesn't really do anything that different from the previous version but just has a new look mainly. It is a slider phone so you slide the screen up to expose the buttons. This is a good feature as it means that you do not accidentally call people when it's in your pocket. You can set the phone so that when you receive a call you just ...
...choose to press the call button to receive the call if you prefer. The speaker is very clear and you have no problems hearing the person you are talking to. The reception is pretty good although every now and then it does show no reception when you're in a perfectly good area. Making calls is easy too. Rather than going into your address book to look up a name and number you can just hold down the button with the letter of the name you are looking ...

...of research into what products Sony Ericsson have out on O2 at the moment. I narrowed it down to the W380i and the W910i and (after much deliberation) settled with the W910i. My first impressions was that the handset was very light compared to my old K700i. It's width (50 mm) and height (99.5 mm) are larger, but as the thickness is less (12.5 mm), it doesn't feel that much bigger in my pocket. A great advantage of the W910i being a little wider ...

I'm not sure if this is standard with the device, but mine came with a 1GB memory card which is big enough to store 300+ photos or a few music albums if used as an MP3 player also. This is also the first slide phone I have owned. All my previous handsets have been 'Candybar' style with the buttons constantly on show at the bottom of ...

Nice Looking But Annoying

Advantages: The Walkman. The beauty of the phone
Disadvantages: The 2 Megapixel camera. Freezes most of the time

I decided to buy the black version of this phone almost a year ago from Argos and I have been using it ever since. I do not know why I am still using it because it is the most annoying phone that I have brought in my life! The things that attracted me to the phone in the first place was obviously the fact that it is a nice very beautiful and sleek looking phone with the feature that I always have to have in a phone which is a quality music player ...
...got a free nice looking speaker with it too. All for the price of £149.95 locked on the T-Mobile network which was a good bargain. The looks of the phone: I think that the black colour is the best to choose for this phone in my opinion because it is a more classic and ideal colour, it matches anything that I wear which is a bonus! I love the fact that the phone is nice a slim for a slide phone, I am able to fit the phone anywhere for example in my ...

Advantages: Light, Great Battery, Compact, Feature Packed, Versatile
Disadvantages: Poor Memory Supplied, Key lock can come off!

Having already had a Sony Ericsson walkman phone prior to getting this one I was hoping for some major advancements in terms of technology and i have not been proven wrong. The last model i had was the 810i which in itself was a fantastic phone. The W910i is compact and light with most functions accessible without opening up the key pad. ...if you are a first-time sony ericsson user. The display is certainly clear and nice. The camera is 3.2mp. however, i felt that a 3.2mp camera on a samsung phone seemed to take better-resolution pictures. If given a choice, i would definitely vote for the samsung camera over this. It's camera is far from impressive, so if you are one who captures a lot of photos with your phone, you might be a tad let down by the camera. The fact that the phone ...

It seemed that i had to fit it exactly right, in a certain position, for the phone to detect the earphones. It was irritating! The keypad seems to be coated with some plastic material. I did not like the feel of the keypad and the stiff keys made texting slower. However, friends who have had the phone for some ...

sony erricsson w910i

Advantages: big music space, amazing camera
Disadvantages: lots! freezing, poor assembling, bad signal.

I got the sony erricsson w910i when i got a new contract and it was Free with loads of texts and phone calls thrown in to the package. I am on 3 and find the network coverage not that great. However, the phone is also not quite up to standards as it breaks on a regular occasion, nothing major but enough to make you really stressed on your way to work! Mine has frozen quite a lot and i have had to take the battery out and put it back in as it has ...
...few of my friends have the same phone and theirs has been worse as they have dropped theirs. The freezing is frequent and the buttons sometimes wont work or have even cracked from poor assembling. Unless you get this phone cheap and could take it back if it breaks for repairs to the shop you bought it from such as 3 or 02, i really dont reccomend this phone. If you can take it back, its a good phone in itself, such as the large space for music, amazing ...

Sony Ericsson W910i

Advantages: Looks good, easy to use
Disadvantages: Freezes every so often

I upgraded from the Sony Ericsson Z610i to the W910i in May this year, and I really like it. I got it through the dolphin pay monthly plan on Orange. It's stylish, thin, and easy to use. What more could you want? Included in the box when you recieve the phone are: the phone itself, charger, manual, usb cable, usb dongle, and headphones. The usb dongle is to allow you to insert your memory card inside the dongle and then connect it to your p.c, but ...

This phone is pretty good. Comes in several different colours including black and silver, its software is quite advanced, you can edit pictures by putting certain animations on top, you can change its colour ( Black and white, Sepia etc etc ) however it is not too complex to use and if a person is pretty familiar with general mobile phone software it shouldnt be too hard for anyone to grasp.
