Advantages Advantages menus make the phone so easy to use

Disadvantages Disadvantages should be able to view 3d images on the phone.

I have had the xperia ray for almost a year and I must say I am so glad that I chose to get the phone. The phone was released at the end of 2011 and has a wide range of features making it an excellent smart phone. The battery life foe the phone especially for a smart phone is very good and most days I manage to go a whole day without charging it and have been able to just charge it up once in the morning when I wake up. The battery is fully charged in just over an hour so for me just putting my phone on charge when I wake up whilst getting ready is enough time for me so I never have to worry ... more

Advantages Advantages A good looking phone with a good camera

Disadvantages Disadvantages navigation takes a bit of getting used to

I recently got a text message to let me know that I am due an upgrade of handset with my current mobile contract. I had a look at the options online and saw this phone, so I popped into the store to have a closer look at it where I was told that this phone has been discontinued and replaced by the Sony Xperia U. The xperia U has a 5mp camera, whereas this has 8mp so I decided that as it was still available online I would rather have the better camera than the newer design. It may be hard to purchase this in stores but it is available to buy online from £90 used and £200 new. First appearances ... more

Advantages Advantages powerful processor, wonderful display, minimalist size, great design, animations

Disadvantages Disadvantages size too small for browsing or video, on-screen keyboard too small for texting, fingerprint magnet

I’ve had this for almost a month now, so I pretty much have an idea by now. for starters, my comparison is set against my previous experiences with smartphones (nokia N85, HTC diamond, nokia N97 mini). also, I won't touch on android, which is not sony ericsson proprietary, so it wouldn't help evaluate the device. on the good side - slim and light actually, slimmer and lighter than I expected. at a time I had it in a jacket I was wearing, forgot I put it there, thought in despair that I already lost it (true fact). state-of-the-art design definitely premium. I like the shape, the sharp edges ... more

Advantages Advantages Good small size, fast for the money, feels solid

Disadvantages Disadvantages camera is average, not as quick as other phones and no upgrade to android 3+

I’ve had this phone for a while now and I quite like it, it’s a good cheap alternative to the more expressive phones. But I wouldn’t say in direct competition with, its style differs majorly. This phone is quite small and is therefore excellent for fitting in pockets, the back of the phone is covered in a black rubberized material that gives a nice solid feel. Overall the phone does feel solid. I didn’t much care for the standard home screen but this phone is compatible with many good alternatives, I am currently running a windows phone 7 clone screen on mine. The touch screen whilst small is ... more

This Phone overall is a Very Good, Powerfull SmartPhone that Delivers. The Phone Camera packs alot of Punch with 8mp and, from experiance I have found the pictures it Produces are Amazing Quailty and Compared Side by Side to One of it's Competitor the Samsung Galaxy Ace there's no comparison (Very Good). The Andriod OS it has, makes it really Easy to Transfer and Manage your Music and Video's compared to the highier priced iphone which involes alot of syncing and can get very very confusing, whereas transfering on this phone is as simple as putting files on a memory stick! Then too add to this ... more
