I told them what my DVD Player is, and my TV, and I was told that the unit I needed to get was the HTK 215 as my DVD player doesn’t have a Dolby 5.1 decoder built in. Having checked prices I asked the Sony Centre if they would price match Unbeatable.co.uk ... ...£20 and a pair of Sony stands are £25 plus. You need to get at least two pairs of stands.
The amplifier itself is quite compact and can be stood flat or vertically using the supplied stand. It’s important that nothing is placed on top of the amplifier, as it will reduce the cooling effiency of the amplifier thereby reducing its life.
