Sony Handycam DCR-DVD404E

Bought one of these for Xmas as some people are now starting to sell of ex-display models, which makes them a bargain. With a baby on the way I was looking for a camcorder that I could use to record those family moments as he grows up, and with this little device I think I have it. This camcorder has great specifications, 3 mega pixel CCD and 16:9 being the most important for me. This is a snappy little digital video camera. This is incredibly simple to use and is great for capturing that special moment. It can also be used as a digital camera and has a slot for a memory card too, although you can put your digital photo's onto the DVD. The main disadvantage I found was price. I paid more than double the price (£1079) in a catalogue compared with everyone else online! You must have a DVD in it straight away for you to start recording.
