Advantages: Good design - small, compact and light.
Disadvantages: Average image quality and poor battery life.

OVERVIEW I bought my Sony DCR-HC27E a few months ago from Curry's for about £200 (but I see Amazon.co.uk are currently selling for £179.99), I also picked up a case for it for about £15 - not essential but I have found it extremely useful. The first thing that attracted to me was it's size - it's quite small and easy to carry. This is a fantastic little Camcorder I actually won mine in an online competition It is lovely and compact looking and touch screen controls just perfect for taking on holiday as it fits perfect into your hand luggage it also has a 20x zoom!! This is a great camcorder and of perfect size suitable for all users from the beginner to the more experienced. It fits easily in one hand and is light enough to hold for quite a long period of time. My brother held mine for the whole of my wedding ceremony and he was so impressed he has gone and got one for himslf. I was overjoyed with the results.
