Sony ICFS22.6CE7

The Sony ICF-S 22 is a hand held portable radio which I just stumble across few days ago. I don't know were we got it from, maybe it was given to us, I can't remember. I simply put batteries inside it to check if it works and it did so thought might as well review it. The portable radio is of old style and not DAB. It's silver and has your traditional manual radio tuning dial on the side. It has a speaker which takes up most of the front and the rest is taken up by the station frequency wave numbers, AM/FM. I bought this from a cash band carry store in Belfast for seven pound. This is a very handy radio if you are in the garden out for a walk or camping.I have came to this conclusion since you use batteries instead of a extension cord or two.Its light, compact and easy to carry and the speakers put out a good volume. It has a sturdy antenna which isn't easily broken and will extend to a great length when needed. You can pick up am ,lw and fm with this but there is no digital.
