...negligible. My main problem is Sony itself. Of course they have to hold things back for their "Flagship" models, but they held back a thing called Motionflow. It's called many things from different companies, but this is just the standard name I use. This is in most televisions these days, sometimes even budget ones (rarely) but it was left out of the TVs between the D3000 and the X3000, which is strange, I think anyway as motionflow doubles the ... ...smoother.
Also, I find that the Standard definition can be quite poor; it's quite good over the built-in freeview but through terrestrial it can get ridiculous. I use sky though so there is no real problem for me. The non-HD images onscreen though seem a little stretched, and no one can say it's because of the screen size. I have seen 50inch Plasmas with amazing SD. It's just missing a few things inside, which isn't great. I can get past this though ...

...is absolutely superb, yet again sony has made an outstaning product. I have it connected to my ps3 and it does 1080p resolution which is crystal clear, although the sound quality could be better. But i solved this problem by simply connecting it to a surroundsound system and now its absolutely fine. Recently taken delivery of this tv and all i can say is WOW! did plenty of research and narrowed it down to this, LG or samsung (equivalent models) since then i've seen the others in action and boy, did i make the right choice! Sony may of been slow to fully commit to leading their range with LCD, but now they have, lucky us. Advantages: Great looking, Wonderful pictures, Quality product Disadvantages: Sport not great if not HD
Excellent design and picture, many "AV slots" for external inputs such as satellite box, DVD, Games Console, PC etc.
AV channels can be turned on or off for easy access.
The Bravia design makes the size of the overall product not much larger than the screen, this allows you to get a larger screen in a smaller place.

Advantages: Build, design and remote and sound Disadvantages: Not the cheapest and set up was not straight forward
I used to have a Samsung but sold it as was not so happy with the quality of the whole package. I looked carefully for my next TV as I wanted to make sure I didn't have to swap it after a year or so, so I went on a very popular model like this Sony. I found it through www.comparebase.com. Main benefits are as follows: Stand base feels very secure unlike the Samsung I had. There is a massive range of edit options for the picture, not just the usual ... ...has a load of options to change the picture to get it just right for the kind of broadcast you watch. I watch a lot of sports and this allowed me to pick a picture suited to live television.
Disadvantages - It weighs an obsolute ton, and although I realise it's a big TV it certainly feels noticably heavier than the Samsung model. Also I have seen many other similar spec models for around £200 less which would be an issue for some.

Advantages: Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, & Looks Great. Disadvantages: Not in the piano black finish, but I don't see this as being a disadvantage.
...narrowed my choices down to Sony & Panasonic. My end decision really boiled down to the cost. For under £600, you can't beat the Sony KDL-V3000. Although it's not got the Piano Black finish, the build quality is what you expect from Sony. This TV has 2 HDMI inputs plus offers full HD, 1080p. I currently have Sky HD, PS3 and Wii and the picture improvement from LG to Sony was amazing. I only wish my LG brokedown earlier.
